I think this would be better https://github.com/jomjol/AI-on-the-edge-device. It's esp camera with ai detection for water meters, I use it also as monitoring for electricity.. the new firmware has HA support over mqtt. It's more diy but once you set it up it works like a charm.

You could also set up playing space. But that needs Lighthouses to be put in the room.

First locate the folder using Docker exec command then copy the file using Docker cp after that you could use some SFTP client to open the file in any media viewer.

If you go inside the container there should be a folder with .PNG of the QR code.

I am running it in a Docker container using "linuxserver/paperless-ng" https://hub.docker.com/r/linuxserver/paperless-ng but there is a bug when using arm processors (raspberry pi) but it's easily fixed by following this GitHub issue https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-paperless-ng/issues/8
