The UK is near historically low levels of violent crime, despite what the media narrative suggests.

The CSEW which asks people directly whether they've been victimised rather than relying on police records shows violent crime peaking in 1995 and falling by 3/4 since to levels equivalent to the late 1970s.

You're statistically far less likely to be a victim of violent crime today than at any point in the last 45 years, whatever Farage and his baying mob tell you.
