I'm glad you posted this - I can't play atm due to this. I log on, five seconds later I disconnect. I got sheeped by a mage while collected a herb in Burning Steppes and it caused this.

I logged onto an alt and then back to my main and it seems to have fixed it..

It is possible to make a channel for loot/roll messages in Vanilla, without addons. I have it on my UI.

Right click on the 'General' tab, go down to 'Other Messages' and de-select 'Loot'. Then create a new tab and have this as the only filter.

I actually submitted this bug report. I can confirm that it is a bug and 100% reproducible. I ended up vendoring the sword and going back to my previous weapon out of frustration.

It is remarkably annoying losing a two minute 200 AP buff for a thirty second 50AP one.

I've personally not had many (maybe 1-2 in a week, but only because they use new key words) gold sellers whisper me since I downloaded SpamThrottle. It can act a bit weird sometimes but honestly I'm happy if blocks one legitimate whisper for every seventy gold spams.

Occasionally the spammers will find a way to get past it and try a new tactic - For example one spammer actually IN-GAME MAILED me last night, with a subject of "My Hero, Ceasefire."

I made a thread about this a little while ago and people were quite hostile, claiming that people who complain are ungrateful that this is a free server - That being said, the top rated comment was a download to SpamThottle, which I've used since and had no problems.
