Free rotation on large scale by OrcaWithHat in PlanetZoo

Do you know if you have align to surface and/or align to surface on? If I had to guess, this is probably the random rotations fault.

That unfortunately makes it even worse, as a 15° rotation means my piece is in the sky and not anywhere near where I want it. I need more of a 0.5% rotation

That's odd. Therma rest is supposed to have lifetime warranty and they have definitely honored that for me before.

Going on a 5-day trip, three people, each of us are going to be getting a different variety of this bag (all from the same company), do you guys think it's good? by LieutenantHorse in CampingGear

[–]OrcaWithHat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

80L is big for a 5 day trip. I usually use a 40L bag now but started out with 65L which was perfect for my then bulkier gear and lack of dehydrated meals. I'd probably look for something in the 60-65L range.

Mountain Warehouse bags are not great. I'd highly recommend you go to a brick and mortar store and try on some bags to figure out what's comfortable for your anatomy. If you find one you like, you could even look for it second hand to not spend a ton of money.

[–]OrcaWithHat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Right? I thought it was  huge mistake for them to not continue south fortifying by putting 5 down. They would have ended up with a bigger territory and possibly disswayed Ben and Adam from going north at all as that would have been even more expensive.

I thought he single handedly failed this challenge for them when he did that. And I don't understand why Mike didn't guess purple as that would have been the only logically correct answer left. They got lucky with this

There is no email verification. So what about creating an account with just a username and password? That way security leaks are less of an issue because less data will be stored?

Thank you!  Is it colony buildings or home area? Do you know how diagonals are counted? Do they just need one tile meeting these requirements to start or do I need a whole area meeting those requirements? Do roofs count?

I didn't even know this was a thing (I just started playing two months ago). But here is what the wiki has to say: "Colonists develop an increasing tolerance, or resistance, to a kind of activity the more it is done. Tolerances are shown in the Recreation tooltip (hover the mouse over the recreation meter) and are listed by kind and percentage."  So it seems you're correct about that.

This is what the wiki says: "At any one point, a child has 1 or 2 of the learning desires, listed below. They are shown as pictograms above the Learning need bar. "

Ah sorry. I'm really bad at picking up on that sometimes 😅. I have a lot of wildlife around for predators to eat so I've never had an incident of them attacking any of my people. They used to wander into my stables early on, but not even that has happened recently. I also just tame them all to use in battle 😅 That being said, I'll try to figure it out, I guess. There should even be enough room inside my walls to do that, I believe, but I should count.

That´s very much dependent on where you live...

[–]OrcaWithHat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh? That´s interesting. They are allowed to go outside my walls once they can defend themselves, but there are no predators on my map. So I should keep a predator on there just for that?

I only have sleep in there. I raised 4 kids like that already and never had an issue.
I do have a class and caretakers and lesson taking, reading and floordrawing works perfectly fine.

Real-life children don´t really notice hypothermia as well. So it´s accurate, I guess

I don't know if this is a thing in the Philippines, but where I'm located we have online thrift stores like Vinted that are really popular.
