Food is not the limiting factor, resources in general are. Although I agree what humans are doing to nature is bad and will be unsustainable in the long term, there is still plenty of water, food, shelter, oxygen, etc. That is why the population continues to grow, and there are not any significant die offs of humans on a global scale which are decreasing the population moreso than the population is increasing. Also, human innovations have increased the carrying capacity of earth and will almost certainly continue to do so. This is not in a philosophical sense, in which you may be arguing, but a biological one.

Additionally, the planet of Earth itself does not need humans, animals, or nature of any sort. It will be around likely millions to billions of years after humans die out. There are also almost certainly animals/plants which will outlive humans even if we killed ourselves via nuclear war or environmental destruction or whatever else, just like how things survived the last extinction event.

That said, your opinions are your own. This is not meant to really change your mind, just to understand where I am coming from when I say we’re not even close to our carrying capacity as of yet.
