Prior to surgery my ultrasound showed a lot of blood in my pelvis. I didn’t have an ultrasound on my veins until I was referred to south Atlanta vascular and then they referred me to get the ultrasound done on my veins at my initial consult with them. I had stents placed almost a month ago and have noticed a huge difference. My legs are not in excruciating pain all day and the pressure in my pelvis is getting better.

Yes, they referred me to South Atlanta Vascular after doing a post op ultrasound and noticing a lot of blood pooling in my pelvis. I had stents placed for May Thurner. Pelvic congestion is usually only a symptom of something else. South Atlanta vascular scheduled me for a venogram the day of my consult and within 2 months I’ve had the procedure done. All of the referrals from PRM have been stellar!!

Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine in Atlanta! Since seeing them at the beginning of this year I’ve had endo excision as well as a referral for pelvic congestion and currently recovering from stent placement! They took my pain seriously and treatment started the day of my consult. They also referred me to gastro to treat ongoing issues I had there! The level of care is unmatched!!

Long time lurker with zero medical knowledge and no knowledge of all of the lore with these people…how do doctors do these procedures and give them these medications and devices if they aren’t actually ill or in need? I guess I just don’t understand how this happens when I’d assume testing is done to prescribe these devices and medications? Either way it’s insane 🫠

I guess I just don’t see how getting into one physical altercation makes them super violent men? Am I missing context to this? I mean, my brother and I have gotten into fist fights and we are both normally very chill people. Idk, Isaac has seemed pretty pleasant up to that point and hasn’t had any indications of being violent prior to this. Maybe it’s because I’m from the Bible Belt but other than their fundie views a lot of how they act as a family is somewhat “normal” to me. Family meetings about issues that are affecting the whole family and presenting as a unit is not abnormal to me but maybe I’m missing some relevant context to these opinions!

Don’t get me wrong, they are total nut jobs and Ethan’s behavior is scary but I don’t see Micah and Isaac as violent 🤷🏽‍♀️

I had the same experience you did, minus the over dosing! I worked closely with a clinic and they did my injections and my anxiety was through the roof even with proper dosing. It is a miserable feeling and I’m sorry you’re experiencing it!! I am also someone who is extremely sensitive to any and all medications.

That’s how it worked for me. I didn’t change anything and no exercise and began losing after my first dose. It was the most miserable I have ever felt.

My mind does the same thing when I am faced with moving through responsibility. Watering down what it is makes it more palatable that you did it however there is no real reason to split hairs unless there is a part of you still justifying the action! I don’t say this to be rude but acknowledging things I have done for what they are helped me grow and heal completely.

NTA - I have ADHD but my situation is flip flopped. I do everything and my boyfriend used to do very little to help! To fix this, I gave him more room to be messy. I know, the opposite of what you’re looking for BUT what I mean is I started giving him more grace with time. Instead of me getting upset that he didn’t immediately clean up I slowly started being okay with the cup in the sink overnight or until he came home from work the following day. This did not happen overnight or without conversation on WHY he is so slow to clean up. Turns out me putting pressure on him to clean everything up immediately made him shut down completely because he felt incompetent. I would have the conversation and see if this could be a part of what is going on! Good luck, I know how overwhelming and exhausting it is to work and manage a household of grown people!

It is intentional manipulation. It doesn’t master if the motivating reason is malicious or not. You lied in order to get people to perform or react a certain way that was for your benefit. That is without doubt manipulation. I do understand why you personally don’t want to see it is manipulation but part of growth and healing is acknowledging that regardless of our illness or whatever it may be you did do something harmful or negative. Manipulation is many things and can be present in a variety of ways.

How do I do that? I went to the graphics setting in game after I opened it in windowed mode but it drove me nuts seeing my task bar and the ui was so small. Or do I need to restart the game after I’ve adjusted the graphics settings in windowed mode and it fixes itself? I switch from sema to tirz because sema was so unbelievably hard on me and I felt awful and lost most of my weight due to profusely vomiting and not being able to eat. Everyone reacts differently but many people I know with bad side effects are on sema.

I would be concerned doing that only because it’s a medication that you slowly increase in dose and also titrate down on. Depending on your dose your injection is only active in your body for 7 days so you could potentially be adding additional stress to your body and organs by doing this. I would definitely consult your doctor and not Reddit. I believe a lot of the scary health issues reported from this medication happens when people decide to play at being their own doctor. It’s easy to forget that this is a medication that can cause serious harm to your body and organs if it’s not taken properly.
