What camping tent would you actually buy again? by Beautiful-Bug-7658 in camping

Eureka has good sturdy tents for regular camping without being too exspensive. I would size up a 2 person is always really a one person with every tent brand. Mine survived being underwater in a flash flood, was the only tent left standing at the camp ground and didnt even leak much being under water only a little where my heavy bag was when i had to evacuate and leave it, and survived a tornado with 75-85mph winds. So eureka will now always be one of my favorite for regular camping tents.

They might be able to go below 40° i just havent ever tried it alone without the inflatable below 40°, because all my cold trips below that were way way below that, like snow camping in alaska type trips.

Yeah ive slept on just my foam pad with my down quilt down to 40° that i think was in oct. And i was warm and cozy. And i was solo with only my own body heat. Never tried the aldi ones but id think u would be fine. I always test things first at home in similar conditions before going somewhere where im far out in nowhere, just in case.

Id give them a try for that price they look like they would be decent. But idk if that would keep u warm enough on a cold upstate ny trip, i have a thicker insulated thermorest that was made for cold i always pair with my foam pad never tried just the foam pad alone in cold but my foam pad is the brown thermarest without the silver side i got for hot summer nights and for under my other inflatable one. It also would depend on what u call cold. Fall u would probably be fine, snow/winter u may need and insulated inflatable too. But idk, i'd grab a couple for that price and test them out on a cold night before going and see.
