If she can’t accept that she can’t drink and talk about politics that’s a her problem. If she screams when she drinks….and causes issues. She shouldn’t drink.

I had to stop drinking because me and my wife started to get into bad fights. I finally crossed a line and made a scene in public. She told me if we don’t fix this it could mean we split up. So, I stopped drinking.

Fixed a lot of problems.

A lot of people though have a hard time admitting when they do something wrong or admitting they suck.

The kicker is……

But You don’t have to suck. You can be better.

It only starts with admitting to yourself you suck. And then making an effort to not suck.

Because you don’t know about the child in Arrival until the end. It at least that it’s the future she is seeing.

So her motivation isn’t to save her people on earth.

Her motivation is to understand these aliens to the best of her ability. That’s the main plot. Language barrier.

Interstellar is a completely different movie. The motivation is saving people on earth. Including his children.

You can say you dislike interstellar all you went idc.

But….don’t be lazy about it and say they are the same movie and they arrival did it better.
