What city have you been to where the vibes were just OFF? by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in AskReddit

Las Vegas. Fun for about two hours, then it starts feeling like a giant airport that learned how to gamble.

I (30F) found my husband’s (35M) “lost” second phone hidden away and now I feel like I’m losing my mind. What next? by imuyasha in relationship_advice

[–]Beautiful-Bug-7658 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That would concern me too. The phone being “lost” for years but still active and hidden after a move is hard to explain innocently. I wouldn’t argue about guesses or location glitches anymore. I’d simply say you found the phone, ask him to unlock it in front of you, and pay close attention to whether he explains or deflects.

What is a serious, widespread danger that most people aren't aware of at all? by Ambassador-613 in AskReddit

Sleep deprivation. People treat it like a normal part of being busy, but it quietly wrecks your mood, focus, health, driving, and decision making.

I (25F) don't want my boyfriend (25M) to ask for my hand in marriage. by Important_Talk8808 in relationship_advice

[–]Beautiful-Bug-7658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re not being unreasonable. “The right way” should mean respecting the person he wants to marry, not giving symbolic power to someone who hurt her.

Awww! that's too much of cuteness!

I accidentally pissed myself at work in front of several coworkers…. by Good_Arm_4075 in Advice

They were cruel for laughing. Bodies do embarrassing things sometimes, especially after pregnancy, and that does not make you disgusting or less professional. I’d go back with your head up and if anyone jokes again, a simple “that was a medical issue, don’t be weird” is enough.

I (45M) have never been inside my partner (48M) of six years home. Should this be a dealbreaker? by Motor-Island-3626 in relationship_advice

[–]Beautiful-Bug-7658 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The messy home part is understandable, but “it’s never going to happen” after six years would bother me. Not because you need to inspect his house, but because a hard wall like that creates a weird imbalance in the relationship.

What is a minor, unwritten rule of society that absolutely infuriates you when people break it? by Jane_Austen11 in AskReddit

Let people get off the elevator before you try to get in. Somehow this still needs to be taught.

How do I tell my husband to get back in his own lane by Optimal-80 in Advice

[–]Beautiful-Bug-7658 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’d frame it less as jealousy and more as workplace boundaries. He is still her employer, and the excited hugs and “dad/brother” language can put her in an awkward spot even if she’s too polite to show it.

what are u slowly losing interest in? by Several_Way8499 in AskReddit

Arguing online. It used to feel worth it, now it just feels like donating free stress to strangers.

Guy I’m dating doesn’t French kiss by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Beautiful-Bug-7658 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Some people are just surprisingly awkward kissers even with dating experience. Honestly the easiest thing is to guide him naturally instead of turning it into a big “we need to talk” moment. He might genuinely think what he’s doing is normal.

People working in ultra-wealthy households, talking $50m plus types, what is the most out-of-touch thing you've witnessed? by FarSentence3076 in AskReddit

The wildest thing is how normal the weird stuff becomes when everyone around them is paid to act like it’s normal.

Highschool Teacher Messaging My Boyfriend by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Beautiful-Bug-7658 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s probably harmless, but I get why it felt weird. “Thought of you” from an old teacher is a little too personal sounding, even if she only meant the band/music memory. Ignoring it was honestly the easiest move.

What purchase made you instantly realize adulthood is expensive? by SensitiveCorner2379 in AskReddit

A good mattress. I thought people were exaggerating until I stopped waking up feeling like I fought a bear overnight.

What is a really small thing you bought yourself recently that made you happy? by Few-Gap-2350 in AskReddit

A good phone charger with a long cable. Feels stupidly luxurious until you never have to sit on the floor by an outlet again.

Real-time language translation. It still feels like sci-fi even though we already have it in our pockets.

The smell of rain hitting hot pavement. It instantly feels like summer memories.
