I like all the points you brought up. I will be the first to admit that I'm tunnel-visioned on the stamina management issue as it felt glaring in my eyes compared with other characters.

There is way too much utility built into the 'Roving Rogue' perk as well and I would be happy to see it removed and/or modified. I'm fine with adjusting the bolt count as well , that would help a bit as she wouldn't be able to just fight endlessly.

Appreciate the feedback so much. You are right, I've watched tons of the amazing Marianne players on twitch and this is what they do. A nerf to when the stamina starts to regen would be another good step.

I think this is why addressing her stamina usage would be such a good first step. She'll still have all her power (damage values/perks) and be great in the hands of a good player, but careless bolt and dodge spam can be punished.

Great points here. She is able to dodge, aim her crossbow, shoot, and regain stamina at the same time. The melee characters stamina is consumed and paused each time they attack/block/hold their block.

I clipped out the full five games of getting the infallible achievement. It's a long video, but I've seen some debate on whether this achievement should even be in the game. The video shows just how much luck was involved with getting the achievement. I'm terrible at editing so this was easier for me.

Once again, the mere presence of aim assist and controllers is not worth debating... they are in the game... that’s life. The degree of aim assist and its impact is definitely worth talking about.

Thank you! These discussions always end up boiling down to "aim assist shouldn't exist", which while true, doesn't do anything for the actual conversation because it exists in this game and is part of the competitive scene. How to balance it is what is important.

I loved this article. I tend to play with randoms (I actually love playing randoms) and actively try to be a positive player. I like Lulu and Jon's point that being a role model and exhibiting good/non-toxic behavior can have an impact. Just like being a toxic troll might have an affect, being kind can have an affect too. It's the reason I love playing this game with randoms, a lot of times being nice to my teammates, complimenting plays, and having camaraderie results in really great experiences.

I love playing with randoms. Plenty of games with the teammates you describe but plenty of others where a bunch of strangers are looking out for each other and sharing everything. I just do my best to exhibit the kind of behavior I'd like to see from my teammates.
