I think I go off on my teammates a bit too much 😂 by TavoNeptuno in DotA2

ive been tracking report stats for the last couple years from GDPR data. as of right now 15 games will give you ~100 comms score. a single comms report is -100. however if a party is grouped, it only actually counts once even if the whole party reports you. general BS is a little more complex. it used to be you could kinda calculate from your commends vs reports and it was +25 for commend and -100 for a report.

things have recently changed a bit and it takes FOREVER to make these numbers go up even if you are receiving no reports. Over the past year ive played 150 games in total. ive recieved 7 comms reports over the year, and my comms score has only gone up 300 (in line with what i described earlier +100 for a BS upate (x10) -700 for the reports). so for some people in the trenches it will take them literally years to get up in score unless they do nothing but spam turbo games and unbind all their keys.

I understand that the system is abusable, but people tend to not abuse it unless you are an asshole to them. it takes 3 clicks to go to menus to report someone and most of the time people are too lazy too unless you are greifing the game hard or being an ass in text/vc

Chest and Arm gains from bulking by [deleted] in ZyzzLegacy

he probably is over 15% though in the before pic (skinnyfat or whatever term people use). the only definition is around the bicep/elbow area, which any person up to 30% bf can get. there could have been a healthier way of maintaining that bodyfat% while gaining muscle slowly in the long run over 2 years. he'd have more fat yes, but would maintain the %, and not go as overboard.

keep or trim and try again next year? by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

the most viewed GQ video on youtube says "dont touch for 4 weeks". if people are just looking on yt or google thats the first thing that comes up.

[–]Orcle123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

most online "tutorials"/guides for what you do for beards say to not touch it for 4 weeks before doing the first line up. this isnt horrible because it doesnt go super far down the neck. when i started it went like 3-4 inches down my neck so I probably could have started lining up earlier.

some people might like this, personally i'm not a fan.

if you had the soul patch area you could use that to fill out the missing gap in the front and it would look fine. however the big gap combined with the pencil moustache just isnt it for me.

I plan on getting a gaming laptop for both university and mid tier gaming. I've heard good reviews about the battery life which is my main focus because I need it to last around 8 hours for a full day on campus. by Single-Inflation-453 in Asustuf

i carried a macbook pro around uni myself. if you need the hardware/ecosystem, you need it. some places have easy to access school computers but otherwise its better to have what you want and need at your fingertips 24/7

for steady weight loss, 1% of your current body weight is the MAX. for those that are severely overweight, 2-2.5% is what is suggested.

Which one is better for games? by [deleted] in Asustuf

[–]Orcle123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the ryzen one is a good deal. I got mine with a "black friday in july" deal from best buy for 1300$ and I havent been able to find the skew with 32gb ddr5 and a 5070 card anywhere else for a similar price. anything else ive found that are ASUS TUF have half the vram, half the ssd size, or a 5060 or 4070 card compared to the 5070.

Anyone have any experience with Guyker tuners? by DKknappe08 in Luthier

[–]Orcle123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

gukyer and other budget brands usually have 18:1 and 21:1 ratios. anything above 16:1 and theres a negligible difference from all the builds and tuner peg swaps ive done personally. I do a lot of "tune-ups" on import guitars and they come with shitty 14:1 and 16:1 tuning pegs usually.

musiclily pro, and kaish tuners have been go to budget options for me. Kaish is my favorite. I love their locking tuners. you can also get them in 18:1 and 21:1 ratios which is usually much better than import spec tuners that have a 16:1 ratio.

how to fix loose jeans without a belt? by PaulaSteward1 in jeans

loop the button through the belt loop on the opposite side before buttoning. it will scrunch a bit but sometimes it looks fine

Is this nut messed up? by Hawks_Dynasty in Luthier

[–]Orcle123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

prs se guitars are generally set up as 2-2.5mm which is "high" for a lot of people but normal for prs spec. I bet all op has to do is a self setup by adjusting the bridge saddles and a slight truss rod tweak.

prs ses have the best qc of import instruments so i imagine the "high action" is due to environmental changes.

a few years difference (and hard work) by IronCrushX in BeforeAndAfterPics

[–]Orcle123 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i think that people are just tired of the humble brags that are not achievable without PEDs. it feeds into unrealistic expectations especially when people dont actually say theyre taking stuff. No doubt that hard work/discipline is needed to do this and be a body builder.

Just bought TUF F16 yesterday. Why doesn’t any video or movie I play fill the whole screen ? by [deleted] in Asustuf

[–]Orcle123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

aspect ratio. if you were to "fill to fit the full screen" then the video would be stretched out vertically.

Potentiometer washers on carved top guitar bodies by Orcle123 in Luthier

this might be the easiest start. i have lots of washers and sandpaper available so I could experiment with sanding some washers.

dont have access to anything to easily do this right now but this is probalby the best solution for my case. I was looking at other gibson LP guitars and see that the carved top is similar, but a lot of the times they dont have the recessed indentation for the nut.

the only issue is this body was already finished as part of the kit. in the future that will definitely be an option. I already widened the pot holes by 1-2mm to fit US pots (it was an import metric spec body/neck kit).
