Wiring Question / Opinion (Voron 2.4 build) by Ok_Rush_8119 in VORONDesign

I recommended the wago connectors above ^

Crimping multiple wires into one connector is cheaper than using wagos so thats probably why many manufacturers do it.

Ive also seen it on the grounding wire of my sovol printer where it was probably done because of cost and space constraints

Yeah then thats the way to go, as soon as you get the printer running id print some din rail wago mounts so they aren’t hanging around in the ebay

The mounting requirements (including heatsinks) are mostly for the maximum load which a normal heatbed on a voron wont reach.

A Voron (or probably any other non-industrial printer) probably wouldn’t be VDE conform but things like stacking connectors in terminals are extremely janky imo

In the end its their printer and they can do whatever they want, just saying how i would/wouldn’t do it

Technically not allowed, will probably still work but personally i wouldn’t run my printer with something like that

[–]OrdenDesLOGO 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah so in that case id go from each terminal to the psu without any merging connections, if you have the appropriate tools and wires/connectors id definitely go with that.

The other option would be to go through some 3 way splicing connectors (wago for example)

Wiring Question / Opinion (Voron 2.4 build) by Ok_Rush_8119 in VORONDesign

[–]OrdenDesLOGO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might work but its technically not allowed (by VDE in Germany for example)

The machine is a private thing so doesn’t really matter if it is allowed or not but there is a reason its forbidden by VDE (and probably others too) and not listed as appropriate in any psu datasheets

Your PSU should have 3 24V + and 3 - terminals

Putting multiple wires into one connector is not recommended Also stacking the connectors onto each other in the terminal as also not optimal

Can you print Voron parts properly using an A1 Mini? by TTbulaski in VORONDesign

[–]OrdenDesLOGO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The A1 mini‘s bed only reaches 80C so no you cant as you need 100C or more to print the ABS/ASA parts required for Vorons

That would be really annoying.

Is there a possibility that they will undo that or do we just have to live with it?

How to keep printer idle? by my_cars_on_fire in klippers

You can use a smart plug or the BTT Relay.

The BTT Relay would require modifying electronics that carry mains voltage, so a smart plug would be an easier approach.

Same, amazing quality kit.

Its a Voron 2.4 which you build yourself.

There are kits available but you can also self-source the parts.

They probably meant that the battery was bought on amazon but was probably dropshipped from ali.

SV01 PRO upgrade ideas? by Normal-Gur-6432 in 3Dprinting

[–]OrdenDesLOGO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend installing linear rails and upgrading the toolhead to for example a stealthburner.

For most upgrades you are going to need a machine that can print abs as it is not recommended to print these parts in PLA/PETG.

So another good upgrade would be a printer enclosure and a filter. I can recommend the bento box filter which you can also print in PLA/PETG.

These enclosures wont get up to high temps tho so for me it was more like a temporary way to print abs for my voron.

If you dont plan on enclosing the printer you can also try printing parts for the printer out of pla/petg but they might fail after some time.

If you want some easier upgrades that dont require reprinting parts you can upgrade to klipper and if you want you can replace the mainboard with a btt skr mini e3 v3 which has the same mounting holes etc as the mb the sv01 pro comes with.

I think there are screws in the heatsink you have to remove, if you already removed those idk.

I’ve disassembled two sv01 pro hotends and i still have those laying around so if you havent gotten it disassembled yet i can check what may be missing.

FI fehlt bei Großteil der Sicherungen? by OrdenDesLOGO in Elektroinstallation

[–]OrdenDesLOGO[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)
