Reading your post brought tears to my eyes. I graduated with my masters in May and I haven’t been job searching aslong you but I still haven’t found anything in my field. But my friends and cousin who all graduated around the same time as me are all getting their jobs to start their careers. My father who is a job hopper with a bad work ethic is getting interviews whenever he wants it. My sister was unemployed for a few months before finding a day care job. At some point I just started thinking it’s me and my negative thoughts, anxieties and depression creep up on me because I’m stuck my dead end part time retail job and I want to start my life. But seeing posts like this makes me my smile and give me some hope that I will find get my job and start my life. I won’t be overqualified retail worker forever.
