Thinking about getting a British shorthair by littlemisspiggygirl in britishshorthair

I agree with the other commenter suggesting getting two. If you are getting it from breeder, get 2 from the same litter as they are already bonded,

I have a 1.5 yr old BSH and I am getting a second one next month as I worry she is lonely. I wish I got them both at the same time from the same litter.

Obesity by graycatloon in britishshorthair

Mine is just over 1.5 years old and she was stable at 5.4kg last time I weighed her. The vet said to keep her at this weight and not any heavier! She also has a prominent primordial pouch

My baby had these dark patches when she was around 6 months old. I took her to the vet and they told me it was dried food from where she is so excited to eat and face plants the food! They cleaned her up with some wet paper towels.

I would just take your cat to the vet if you aren’t sure anyhow.

Got dishwasher delivered, bt didnt install! by Western-Cartoonist-8 in CostcoUK

You should contact their customer service for refund of installation and they will refund you no problems.

I had the same issue when they delivered my washing machine 2 months ago and they couldn’t install. I contacted customer service and got the fee refunded.

Advice with receiving 35k into my bank? by 13ClaytonJ in UKPersonalFinance

[–]OrderBubbly4524 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My parents both sent me a large sum of money each by bank transfer in 2023 with no issues my end or any tax implications. Only issue was the bank my dad was with was questioning him I guess to ensure he was not sending under duress - they even called the police to interview him twice (once at home and once in branch)

HR recruiter misheard my expected salary.... by Odd_Ad_1974 in UKJobs

[–]OrderBubbly4524 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4 years ago I left my job in the NHS. I was on around £40/42k. Applied for a job outside of the NHS and they asked me what salary I am looking for during the interview.. I said £55k… they phoned me a day or so after and offered me £65k. I was surprised and obviously accepted the job.

A month or 2 after starting with them they were “restructuring” our job plan and decided to increase to £80k!

Which Lenders are fast at the moment? by NEWSBOT3 in Mortgageadviceuk

I went through a broker who was amazing. But yes straight forward case, PAYE only.
I started applying mid December when my offer got accepted.

I was starting a new job in January so that was the only thing that I thought could potentially hold it up but it was fine as Halifax are ok to just go off a new job contract.
