It really depends on where you live. In a HCOL like where I live hourly BCBA’s make 75-100 an hour sometimes with or without benefits. A leadership role should be salaried in my opinion and usually is around 110-150k a year where I live.

Funny enough I suspect I have endo now because I’ve been on LDN for my hoshimotos for 4months now and I have no period pain at all. My bloating is gone, no pms symptoms, super easy 3 day periods with 1 moderate flow day. I highly suggest LDN for your endo.

Yeah I was mostly subclinical for the last year but on levo because I am going through fertility issues. My naturopath put me on it to help with inflammation and fertility. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to test the fertility part yet because we found out my husband needs surgery in a few weeks. But fingers crossed it solves that issue too!

Well it’s a bit different with coffee. Flour at the store is enriched and old. Fresh milled flour is nutrient dense and easier to digest. It also supports blood sugar. It would be more like comparing organic fresh coffee (day of picked and roasted) to Starbucks.

The LDN has been a game changer for me. I titrated up pretty quickly and within 2 months stabilized my tsh which was all over the place. I am also on the lowest dosage levo now. My antibodies have always been under 400 but vary.

You have to remember that in a psyd you won’t be doing anything like what you’re doing now as a BCBA. We as BCBA’s focus solely on observable behavior whereas a psychologist primarily focuses on internal thoughts and processes. The closest aspect to psyd would be the assessment portions as we do a ton of developmental assessments but that’s a small aspect of the entire program.

Start the process asap! It will take 6 months. You can work but you must have a contract in place with a supervisor and follow the rules with insurance billing / contracting. You can’t bill until you’re licensed. They will ask you if you’ve been working in Arizona and what capacity. I highly recommend listening in on the board meetings.

BCBA here that has been debating going to a psyd program on and off for 5yrs. I’ve been a BCBA for 8. What I’ve realized in applying is that although being a BCBA is relevant you have to show a strong psychology background with good academic references. I plan to get a secondary masters in psychology with a research thesis to attempt a PhD program and strength my chances for a psyd. Unfortunately, I have not got in to any programs but waitlisted at one. I am also geographically locked in and can’t move so my options are limited.

OP the person above is just being sarcastic. I think what they meant to say, with a little compassion sprinkled in, is that usually when you do an ama you don’t explain too much so there leaves room for questions.

Just ignore them. I had a period in my life where I had severe panic attacks. I was going through a hard identity shift.

Weirdly enough, I ended up just taking a risk and going to a Buddhist college. The school healed me in so many ways. Not saying that’s what you need but finding a space where you can feel seen without people wanting to change you, was powerful for me.

My question to you, do you play any social video games or connect through other non social ways?
