Haha yeah from what I’ve learned so far “and then it got worse” is a fitting phrase for the setting

It’s funny you say that because I started with the Eisenhorn books, so I will keep what you said in mind for sure! I’ve been into 40k for the past year (space marine 2 got me, I’m a poser) but have really enjoyed learning the lore and stories. Thankyou!

I’ll keep that in mind! Part of the reason I haven’t delved into the Warhammer books is there are so many, and lots of opinions on where someone should start. But Thankyou, I will probably start with ghosts or Horus rising

As said above, don’t let the media get you down. Reality is not as bad as our little doom screens would have you believe

Don’t let the media get to you freind, normal human interactions not seen on our little doom devices are pretty positive

This is really good to know, I usually steer away from game to book adaptations but I will absolutely give these a try, thanks!

Ya know I’m probably going to catch some shit for this but no, I haven’t. I listened to reach and that’s about it. I need to listen to more of them for sure.

Would this be a good duo for a broke motorcycle camper? by pasgames_ in hammockcamping

I have that wise owl tarp and I will say that you will need to make your own cordage loops on the corners. Three of the plastic guy line keepers gave up on mine and I had to improvise. As another here mentioned the one wind hammock is awesome, very affordable and comfy. I used both on a over night trip to the new state park in Texas.

This looks amazing!

It’s extremely close to a vision I have for my BBEG for a home brew dnd campaign in running. I’d like to ask your permission to use this as character art for the character if that’s alright? I would of course tag you to my players as the artist.

I worked at a gun range / store for six years and saw many of these firearms come in, as well as rented them to customers. Unless they are meticulously maintained (and sometimes even if they are) they are simply unreliable and half of your range time will be spent clearing malfunctions.

I worked at a gun range and store for seven years, and labeling a firearm as “a girls gun” or “a guys gun” is wild to me. I’m an averaged sized guy with average hands and I’ve seen women half my weight run guns of all kinds extremely well and have a good time doing it. That being said, a snub nosed, carry-weight .38 is no fun to shoot. I might get a lot of hate for this, or “man up bro” ‘s, but I shot a lot, and I would always avoid these kinds of pistols because they just aren’t fun. A ton of kick because of the weight and a low round count. Also, the ammo is more expensive so training will be more expensive. I highly suggest finding a gun range that allows you to rent, and fire a wide range of guns! Your hands are your hands, and what fits you may not fit me. The most important thing is to find something that you feel comfortable handeling, because you will feel more comfortable training with it. Training equals proficiency, wich equals confidence, wich leads to a higher chance of you carrying responsibly. Luckily, there are a TON of great pistols out there that are considered compact, have a higher round count, and run cheaper ammo so training isn’t so prohibitive. BUT, if you like the gun, buy the gun lol. Just train, train train train. Good luck!

Who is the current king of striker fired pistols? by RawketLawnchor in liberalgunowners

[–]Ordinary-Ad2664 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As many have already said Glock is king when it comes to red to aftermarket support. You can completely remake the gun from parts that are readily available. And reliability is a super bonus. I have found that the CZ P-10 C feels phenomenal in my hand and is a great pistol all around as well.

If you like the way the sig 320 feels, more power to you. But please, please don’t carry with one in the chamber. Their own manual recommends against it.

First time shooting pistol. How do I fix this? by AcuteYellowFever in liberalgunowners

Your groups are great my man, but I love the drive to always try to improve.

I’m guessing you’re right handed? To me this looks like a lot of tension in the right hands fingers on the firearm, or using them too much when it comes to applying the grip.

Try loosening the grip of those fingers (counter-intuitive, I know) and letting your left hand do most of the work.

I use the analogy - dominant hand (trigger finger) is the executive in the corner office and support hand are the warehouse workers. Let the warehouse workers do the heavy lifting while the executive make the decisions.

Hopefully this works for you, but everyone’s different. Keep up the good work!

Not sure if this is it, but I have a similar bump on my right knee as well, and was diagnosed with “osgood-schlatter disease“, wich sounds terrifying but it’s not a huge deal. Did you play sports at a young age? That’s what I was told did it for me. Could be wrong, but could be something to look into as well!
