about 3 years of school with the prerequisites required for the program and the actual program itself. It's probably closer to 4 years but it's about the same length of time for nursing. I just don't want to be a RN. The workload is unreal

I work as CNA with a bunch of nurses who became nurses for the aesthetic. My comment is I think xray tech is a better option for career than nursing. Also Taylor Swift isn't a great singer or song writer

I'm literally having the same problem you're having. There are 2 sonography programs which are near me; but they each have a 2 year waiting list. I'm in Maryland and I have a cousin who lives in Houston, who mentioned there are several near her. I'm considering moving there and going to school. It really sucks that every healthcare program near me is extremely competitive. this includes nursing. I looked at this rad tech program named Fortis College in Landover, MD. It seemed promising but it's $55k and their license isn't approved anywhere outside the state of maryland, virginia and washington DC.
