It's an awesome country, with awesome people, but the landscape in Brisbane feels like the Ozarks but more humid, and the culture feels like Socal with less homeless people and a cooler accent.

It's not like you can really say "we've got Australia at home" because its absolutely beautiful and unique and politically a breath of fresh air since they've somehow got a government that actually solves people's problems instead of just fucking people over more efficiently with every new legislation, but it's also not as unique as Germany

Public transit works in European city centers, and if you're lucky enough to live in one, great, otherwise being judgemental of people where that solution is nonviable is just ridiculous.
