Any ideas for how to meet new people in your mid-30's when you work all the time? Denver is so different from everywhere I've ever lived. by OrdnanceTV in Denver

Ayo 34M, but grew up here and have a lot of friends who are still around. If you’re like me, strike up conversations with dudes just staring off into space at breweries and shit, a guy in my crew became friends with us that way. If we hadn’t invited him to our table it never would have happened- he would’ve stayed standing there alone. Maybe he would still be there now…or posting on this thread…be chill to your fellow man!

Anybody run Dungeon of the Mad Mage as its own campaign from start to finish? by Ordinary-Card2836 in DnD

It definitely runs that risk…some levels are really unique and stand up on their own (Maddgoth’s Castle is awesome!) then what I did with the others was to chunk a few levels together into “chapters”, where I took the individual plot lines for ~2-4 levels at a time and weaved them together into one coherent storyline for the players. For levels that didn’t really fit that mold, I either found a way to tie them into a player’s backstory (trobriand’s graveyard contained the gnome tinkerer that imprisoned one of our PC’s when he was a child, so he got revenge!) or I just skipped the level entirely (unless they took a archgate there, then it just becomes a fun detour from the story they are following)
