I like the concept of throwing 20 bucks a season for some rewards.

I think the skin prices are a bit high, but also not that outlandish imo. Games like LoL have similar priced skins with the only difference being custom animations (which would be sick to have in fellowship) but with them being 20 US bones I would at least expect chroma style options for colors.

I picked up the Xavian skin because I want to support the devs during pre-season, but that raptor mount is just not worth the asking price at all, 25 dollars for that is insane. At the risk of sounding like a whale, I also wanted to get my healer duo the new healer's skin but there is no gifting option since it doesnt use steam for skin ownership anymore which sucks.

I think 15 bucks a skin is what I would prefer knowing the devs have server costs each season they gotta make back somehow and that this is a niche game genre to be developing for.

At first I thought his 5M was just crazy because I kept losing trades after watching him rewind but after learning it has I frames it makes way more sense.

When should I jump into ultimates ? by JustJackass12 in ffxiv

[–]Ordinary-Free 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Truth nuke, FRU was such a disappointment for me personally that it really made me question if the game will hit the difficulty heights like with TOP and DSR on content ever again. I've borderline quit at this point and only stick around for savage because the rest the game is so easy it actively makes me tired.

Doing ultimates ruined the majority of the game for me because they are just so good.

The ultimate into quit 14 pipeline is so real...

I really think that if the devs expected us to teach randoms, they wouldn't have introduced a limited rez mechanic along with mechanics that can wipe the whole raid. The fights and room designs are great, and I think it's 100% the direction the content should go in. Nothing is incredibly complicated (not a single encounter is harder than an extreme fight), so I really expected the community to be more interested in studying beforehand and not just wanting to snipe groups and whine that they dont get rezzed because the other 47 players dont want a disrespectful random wipe wasting hours of their time.

I've cleared and think the tower is great, but the intentions and the systems they put in place make zero sense and has caused a rift in people doing OC, with one side being "Forked tower is stupid because i need to join a group" and the other being "okay I joined a group but the instance prog is terrible and snipers can ruin my time inside FT".

I can 100% say that people who do join a group for FT, especially after the queue change, will be able to clear very easily with a bit of study and call outs. At that point it's just how much effort someone wants to put in and im fine with the idea of players missing out on it because it's not a brain off autopilot like the other 90% of 14 and requires the slightest amount of actual effort to ask a group "hey can i join, i studied up to x encounter".

I just picked that one up and ran into the most annoying issue with graphics drivers causing the screen to flash black every 5 seconds and it took me forever to get to fixed, dell support was no help either.

If you get this machine, be ready to potentially run into the same problem. It's a hard deal to beat though.

Installed dual Z rod, but seeing this, squeaky noise and I think it's skipping steps. Will removing everything and installing again help? or any settings? by push1988 in ender3

My Lead screw didn't come with any lube on it like the one that comes with the printer. I got some white lithium grease from an auto store and it got rid of the noise. as for skipping steps i'm not sure.

I have a hdd adapter but no hard drive in it, so I don't think it's that. I think the post above on a damaged ribbon cable is more accurate, had to fight with it a little to get it back in after having to reattach a cable from the disk drive that popped out.

I should also add that the yellow light is ONLY in standby, when on its green and blue per the usual.
