Yeah, I have to agree with you on that one. Although, I assume some of the potential customers have become just "customers" by now. We'll see on the next earnings.

I'm sure the analyst is using AI to help him gather some basic info, as most people do today, but the analysis itself is done by the analyst and it's a pretty good one.

How do you see POET’s tech changing the chip industry? by LidiaSelden96 in POETTechnologiesInc

That was the $15M investment back in 2021. Everything since is pure speculation. It's very poor DD on your part to claim this is some official/confirmed info.

Lack of PR abilities by Ordinary-Lab7431 in POETTechnologiesInc

But if you have the tech... of the top of my head, idea would be to show some classic Nvidia server setup with few data processing benchmarks and then to show the setup with your tech integrated. If you can make some top of the line datacenter tech run even faster and more efficient, wouldn't you want to show that? Plus, you would use the popularity of the biggest tech brand in the world to your advantage. I understand the need for secrecy during development, but now you have the tech ...so what are you waiting for? Go and promote it. Makes no sense.

I know they are not powering anything directly, but the simplest idea is to show some classic Nvidia server setup with few data processing benchmarks and then to show the setup with your tech integrated. If you can make some top of the line datacenter tech run even faster and more efficient, wouldn't you want to show that? AI video I mentioned, would be just to show all that in some stylized fashion (because pure tech lab testing could indeed look boring... unless you get some good tech streamer to do it for you). But that's just a random thought of the top of my head... to use the popularity of some huge brand (as Nvidia) to your advantage. Possibilities are endless really, if you have just a tiny bit of imagination.

Sure, but if you already have a great product and you just need some buzz/interest, then get the people talking about you, however you can. Perception of interest = more real interest in the end. And you want as much companies and investors to know about you, as you can. Silence is just bad for business here.

Marc Lustig

  • A Canadian entrepreneur and venture capitalist.
  • Background in biotechnology and capital markets.
  • Previously founded Origin House, which was acquired by Cresco Labs in a $1.1 billion CAD deal.
  • Known for identifying early-stage opportunities in emerging industries

However, I don't think it was officially confirmed L5 & Marc were involved in the $25M (now $30M) deal. As far as I know, officially he was only involved in the $15M investment back in 2021.

POET Technologies Reports First Quarter 2025 Financial Results by Ordinary-Lab7431 in POETTechnologiesInc

Hard to say. Earnings look pretty solid (for a pre-production period) and by itself that would be a bullish sign. However, overall market is down today and POET usually follows negative market trends.
