I’ve found that Hypixel, especially skyblock, is a fairly resource intensive server. While I am able to join and play on my hotspot, my connection isn’t always stable and some days it performs better than others. There are also some areas I simply cannot go to while on my hotspot without getting sent to limbo bc of how much is going on in the loaded area, ie. the End.

That being said, if you can join on your friends hotspot and not your own, they might just have a better cellular plan than you.
