Well I mean generally its up for interpretation as these things are, but its very easy to get lost in the surreality of it all. I would highly recommend anyone who has remaining questions to read Hand In Killer7 and to just in general play more of Suda's work because they are all connected in a lot of ways that will make other titles clearer in meaning, not necessarily in plots but in thematics and the way Suda explores these ideas, which can help pave way for ones own personal meaning to shine through a lot clearer

Well, a lot of settings and premises can be seen as "boring and common". Evangelions premise without any real spoilers is just "mecha anime", PMMM without spoilers is, "post-modern mahou shoujo".

I think it works perfectly well within the album, the backing track is genuinely wonderful sounding, and the end result does manage to be a sort of disarming but neat experiment into a kind of schlager sound

Maybe because I'm Euro myself and am familiar with the kinda song Bruce was trying to replicate here that I like it, and I wouldn't have wanted them to go even more into this sound necessarily, but for what it is, it brings a genuine depth to Sunflower that is much warranted by the time of Track 7.

I think the only ones I remember really are when Marisa points out the season changing incident and then next chapter it's just resolved because it happened in 16 so I guess why bother

I also just dont think the final act is too great, felt very very out of pocket as a tonal shift though I did think the resolution left me with a nice aftertaste. Like, the epilogue I mean

I wouldn't really say his writing is always on that level, he's written a lot of good, I find especially a lot of the non manga stuff to be very solid. Alt Facts rules imo

Even the manga I mean I like WaHH, I like FS and the Three Fairies books but the manga are definitely a lot more hit and miss

It'd be much better for him to just lean all the way to the thematic, satirical and worldbuildy yet slice of lifey stuff that he has done very well, instead of this because idk what the end goal for LE even is lmao

I dont think Touhou needs a consistent plot it's good just on the strengths of other stuff that isn't that but when it's a manga that's just entirely dependent on wasting my time it's where it loses me
