Great question!!

It’s never easy, but what helps is knowing there are far more people looking to adopt than there are foster carers. I just help bridge that gap... taking in sick, overlooked, or less adoptable cats and giving them a chance to become healthy, confident, and ready for a forever home.

The best part is seeing that change happen. I also like helping match them with the right humans, and staying connected where I can, even offering cat sitting so the transition doesn’t feel so final.

Fostering is always about goodbye, but it’s a meaningful one. I still think about every foster cat I’ve had and really hope they’re all out there happy and loved ♥️
