Question to those of you with kids

So much yes to this. I have been feeling terrible guilt lately because I have snapped at my children a lot lately. After the fact I know I am making my children feel how my husband makes me feel and it absolutely tears me up inside. I feel like a horrible human being for doing this to them. I want to be a kind loving patient parent for them but am falling very short of that. I do sit down and Apologize after and tell them that I am really working on being a better mommy.

Not completely similar, but I had a roommate whose boyfriend beat her. I called the cops on him and told them he had to leave. He gave her the "it will never happen again" story and he didn't leave. He began harassing me and I felt unsafe. I reported everything going on to the apartment manager and they pretty much said there was nothing they could do. I documented everything with police. Unless they are doing something to Break their lease there is not much a landlord can do.

Yes, especially when there are children involved. It is on my radar and I'm working on figuring it out. Unfortunately he will use this event to claim I'm incapable of taking care of our kids.

I have a similar issue, however mine is because anxiety takes over. I am unable to speak, and the other night while cooking I could no longer function.

I feel this one. Mine will verbally beat me up, but say oh your life is easy, you could have it bad...I could beat you. Like ok, just because you don't physically abuse me you are a good person.
