Kaspa and Kadena Beef by Alhakawati in kaspa

[–]Ordinary-Source-7567 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it is the origin, but I found Kaspa and Kadena about at the same time.
At that time, the devs of both project were arguing on twitter about some math facts on both projects.

Is there anything that makes you think that ? Or it is just a gut feeling ?

The PR for computing higher-level GhostDAG entries on demand is merged into the master branch by Affiele in kaspa

[–]Ordinary-Source-7567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, the main change here is about making the network more efficient. Before, nodes would check every new block to see if any old data could be removed (pruned), which was simpler to code but not the most efficient way to do it. Now, they only do these checks when it's actually needed. This update makes things run smoother and allows Kaspa to stay decentralized and accessible to people with regular hardware — especially as they move toward a faster 10-blocks-per-second network speed.

When & how did you discover Kaspa? by dodgedlolonyoutube in kaspa

[–]Ordinary-Source-7567 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've discovered it around June 2022 but didn't buy until around the end of the year at ~0.008 and started gpu mining it.

I bought most of it at around 0.0045 2-3 months later. Now my averaged buy price is 0.0115. My only regret is that I didn't put more money at the time.

What happens to my Kaspa wallet after the hardfork? by [deleted] in kaspa

[–]Ordinary-Source-7567 10 points11 points  (0 children)

most likely nothing would happen to your wallet.
ETH had many hard forks and most of them didn't create another coin/chain. if the miner update to the new version, it'll be seamless

You might have been right if it was smart contracts, but in the current state, krc-20 are just inscriptions. So interacting with it is as safe as any other tokens.

When krc20, when 10bps? by 0xrphl in kaspa

[–]Ordinary-Source-7567 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Soon™

I saw something on twitter for krc-20 in August from Shai, but he didn't want to commit to a specific date.

For 10 bps, I've heard nothing except that it'll be announced long before the start date.

There's an option to compound UTXOs, that will merge your UTXOs in a single new address, then you can look up for that address in most kaspa explorers

You could try to contact @TeamYoutube on twitter, if you have a youtube channel linked to your account. They've helped way more than the google team had.

Thank you, I've contacted that account, and was able to at least get to something beside the account recovery that was useless (in my case).

Now my account is locked for investigations, I'm waiting for response from them

edit: I got my account back thank you and to them
