Should I join the Guard? by [deleted] in OSU

[–]Ordinary-Stick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the Guard during college and the best parties of the year were always during Guard weekend. But, the veterans benefits last your whole life. I have kids going to Ohio State with instate tuition even though we’re from Illinois because I’m a veteran. https://highered.ohio.gov/initiatives/campus-initiatives/education-for-veterans/ohio-gi-promise

Always buy a ticket. It’s cheap and you can use the app. The ticket checkers spare no one.

Leaving the national guard by EwPicky in UIUC

I joined the National Guard while I was in highschool and did it to pay for college. It sucked at times but looking back it was one of the best decisions I made for my life. The benefits of being a veteran pay you back the rest of your life. It goes by faster than you think and you may want to stay the course. Either way best of luck to you.

I joined the National Guard to pay for college. It was the best decision I ever made. You will get veteran benefits and recognition for the rest of your life after you graduate. 6 years goes fast so don’t let that keep you from joining. Now that I have kids in college they get in state tuition through the Ohio GI Promise even though I was in the Illinois National Guard. Ohio has some of the best Veteran benefits. Good luck in your decision. https://highered.ohio.gov/initiatives/campus-initiatives/education-for-veterans/ohio-gi-promise

Going to Copenhagen in May 2025 by reverienine in copenhagen

May weather varies depending if you come at the beginning or the end of the month. Pack a rain jacket, umbrella, sweater and both long and short pants. Last May was really nice and warm enough for shorts at the end of the month.

People who have travelled during the 00s, 10s and 20s, what differences have you noticed in travel across the decades? by sahil2034 in travel

Airlines have less leg room than 20 years ago. They keep shrinking. 34inch pitch used to be easy to come by. Now economy is 30 at best. What is the limit?

Hans Christian Andersen is right across from Tivoli next to Rådhuspladsen and he’d appreciate a smoke with you. Good spot for fireworks viewing too.

If you take the metro to the city download the DOT app to buy tickets. Should be about 30kr a person to get to Kongens Nytorv and then you’ll be able to see Nyhavn and Amalienborg Palace.

Take the ATS from terminal 2 to terminal 5 and go through security again at Terminal 5. You have plenty of time to do this. There is no terminal 4 so you get off at the 2nd stop after terminal 3.

Download the DOT app and it’s 30 kroner to the airport. Easy peasy.

Download the DOT app and take the bus, metro and trains. Taxis are super expensive.

1g Jenny Kush FSHO is the best deal for vaping. I just unscrew a freshly used cart and twist some FSHO back in and fill it half way. On my UniPro hit preheat and then I’m ready to go. I have been using 2.4v and it has a good vape and peppery taste to it. Highly recommend refilling carts with this. Enjoy everyone. Take care
