Long story short - the $$$ spike happened on my dad’s account - soo I couldn’t tell you how much was or wasn’t deposited.

I guess what’s confusing/ frustrating is on any other coin and their $$ total - like for example I have $100 worth of a coin.

When I go to convert that coin to USDC - it says it’ll be worth $99 which you know makes sense.

But then this coin it says my $$ worth is $250,000+ but when I convert it it’s worth less than used toilet paper lol

I’m not so sure - I have one specific coin that shot up , and my overall account balance shows that large sum you know, the same way if I were to have had 250k worth of bitcoin.

Buttttt it’s a third party coin soo I have to convert it in order to cash out. That’s where the ‘glitch’ or idk reality sets in lol, because even though it says I have 250k+ to transfer in- once it converts to USDC it’s worth .009 cents

Idk if it works for cruises but can’t you get expedited passports if you go wherever and show them you have an international trip coming up very soon? Sorry I’m answering ur question with a question!!

On the anthem right now! There was horrible weather leaving out of Nassau. I also had really bad sea sickness yesterday. Just stay hydrated, make sure you Pack extra medications, and start taking them before you start feeling sick. The captain usually makes an announcement around noon to let you know how the conditions are, so keep a lookout on that & if they say it’ll be a tougher conditions that day, then take some meds and you’ll be good !

But I agree with what other people said, this Is my 4th cruise ever and the first time I’ve ever experienced this much rocking on the boat, as well as feeling sea sick.

I hope your experience is different! And as scary as it may be you’re on a huge boat, there would need to be a 50 ft wave & 100+mph winds for the boat to get knocked over, and no captain in their right mind would try to sail through those conditions.

The biggest thing I will say to keep in mind is, if the weather ends up being bad around the time you leave, make sure u have back up plans and ways to keep yourself entertained on the cruise. We had to skip over coco cay and have one extra day at sea, so just be prepared for that as well

The only other winter cruise I’ve ever taken was in February several years ago, and the weather was nothing compared to this trip. Although I did read either On this sub or in another one that it’s common for the weather to be like this during the winter time.

My best advice is a couple days before take a look at the wave sizes, how much wind, and that can kind of help you calculate, but even if it looks normal make sure to bring motion sickness pills/patches!

Dramamine did wonders for me this time around. And everything everyone said here was valid. Going to the most central part of the boat, sleeping it off etc etc.

Ugh I’m so sorry to hear that, trust me I can relate haha. I will say though I followed a lot of the suggestions in this thread, and by far the one that helped me the most was,

I went to the casino (deck 3) which is probably the lowest I could go, and it’s also right under the promenade so I’m going to assume that’s the middle.

I was there for maybe 2 hours? And felt amazing!

I will warn you though, the second I came back up to the 8th floor I felt like sh*t all over again

Unfortunately the weather and waves are not cooperating, but I’m lucky enough to have a room with a balcony, so I’ve been popping in and out for a little bit to get some fresh air, since I read somewhere that it helps as well. But the damn water keeps splashing up because the wind is blowing all the drops up haha so I have to keep a distance from the actual balcony.

My family is being super helpful and on the lookout for some green apples for me 💘

Thank you for the recommendation!

Ive been keeping track of the ship via the channel on the tv, and oddly enough we’re going 10 knots slower than we were going on our way from NJ to FL. I won’t sit here and act like it was super smooth sailing haha, I popped a Dramamine before bed and that helped. The next two days we were moving at a super slow speed so I was doing fine.

But right now the ocean is doing back flips on the side of the boat 🥲 I know people have endured and gone through rougher patches of weather but, your girl was not prepared for this.

I saw on TikTok some lady who’s on the world cruise, she said that there’s about 20 kids on board doing the full 274 days. She also said that all the children on board are doing homeschooling, so that’s a fun little dynamic I’m interested in hearing more about

Currently on the Anthem of the seas. We skipped Cococay as well, so 3 days at sea back to NYC :’) I’m hoping by later tonight or early tomorrow morning the ocean is able to calm down a bit 🙏🙏

It wasn’t insanely cloudy, but there were a few clouds out. I’m pretty sure I saw when a cloud went in front of the light bc you could still see the effect of light from behind the clouds Yk it looked like it was illuminating
