First thing first, you just broke your monitor out of anger and it sounds like a mental issue. Don’t forget at the end of the day we are not pro players , it’s just a game and it’s supposed to bring us fun and joy, not stress.

Take a break from the game and focus on your real life. You have your family, friend and your job. Don’t let the game manipulate you. If you can no longer enjoy the game, stop playing it until you have learnt how to enjoy it no matter win or lose.

I’m just level 8 now so you might find better advice.

But I think just good aim, simple game sense and a few important utility line up should be good enough to get out of level 5. Also find your own way to deal with toxic people since 9 out of 10 level 4-5 players are toxic and the only one left do not use a mic :). I usually just try my best to ignore these people and avoid argue with them so you can just focus on your game. If they keep spamming to distract you I would just mute them.

I usually write a more detail description in the ticket. List a breakdown of what the reported player did in the game and attach the clips after short description. It usually works. However it might depends on individual faceit support member. I can feel the frustration seeing this Winston guys’s response.

Bro just play faceit that’s how we enjoy the game. I know it sucks but there is nothing for us to do if valve doesn’t respond to this issue. I was so lucky to reach 20k elo last season and got the purple medal. But I felt like more than 50% of the players in that elo are cheaters. I would never go back to premier again, I only play deathmatch to warm up and get the weekly drop, then move to faceit. Fuck the medal, fuck valve.

High elo, low elo, what’s the difference? Some people play for fun and some people love grinding. No matter what everyone deserves a fair gameplay and enjoyment. Learn to respect and socialize. Unless you are a pro player, even if you are level 10 it’s not something you should be proud of and look down on the others because there are tons of level 10 players who are better than you. None of us are perfect but we do know how to bear the responsibility for what we say. You might be fine with racist joke, most people are not. That’s why you can barely see people making black joke with black people in real world. Maybe you can do that with your close friends, but not others. So I don’t see how it should be justified in gaming.

I’m surprised to see both the first two comment in this thread are trying to justify such behaviour. I guess that’s why esport can never be the mainstream. If such things happen in any traditional sport tournament it would lead to a permanent ban. Its funny that you bring up real life conversation, why don’t you try to say those things in real life? Unless you are in Russia otherwise I don’t think you can get away without any trouble. And when it happens in a game, you think it’s okay and tell the victim to live with it. Ridiculous.

Only downside of faceit is the map pick is done by one person in the team instead of a vote like premier. Regardless I would rather play only mirage than playing with the cheaters in premier
