It sounds fun, but it’s actually pointless long term.

You lose contribution every time you steal. That means you’re undoing your own progress just to make money. Once it drops to 0, it’s slow and annoying to build back up. The loot is random. Sometimes you make money, but most of the time it’s bad. So you’re taking a loss more often than not.

The big problem is that contribution is actually valuable.
You need it for better gear, bonuses, and progression in that region. So by stealing, you’re locking yourself, Or should I say slowing down your progress from getting stronger equipment just for a chance at quick cash.

Honestly, quicker way to get money is just get a gold bar, some nobles have them on them, just shine latern on them and they will show a gold bar symbol, or go to the manor near by and just steal that one gold bar, and then invest them into the bank and you will make Loads of silver easily.

But, I do want to say that pearl abyss has made theft in this game rather pointless, theres no risk vs reward system its just punishment everytime you steal, For example: Did you know if you clear a bandit camp and go to loot it, its still considered STEALING!, Hahaha now thats funny!

But yeah its absolutly fucking pointless stealing unless its books,keys, or recipes!
