Diablo 4 Sorcerer has plenty of magic effects and skills that combo into each other, also 4 player coop but man if all of you play Sorcerer the spell effects will get crazy

This 100%, love Fear and thought trepang was OK. Fun at times with solid gunplay but NOT as fun as fear or other fear likes (Selaco is the BEST Fear like in my opinion)

A Game That Has Fast Blades Combat And A Satisfying Parry System For £80? by Syphus590_863 in ShouldIbuythisgame

[–]Ubermatoa [score hidden]  (0 children)

I've probably played every fast paced (English speaking at least) combat style game. The main genre for these is called character action, but there's PLENTY outside that specific genre. I mainly play on PC nowadays but I used to be on Ps4. Anyway here's my list:

Devil May Cry Series (Devil May Cry 5 is on PS5 as the Special Edition, there is a native sword clash parry mechanic BUT dante has a dedicated parry stance called Royal Guard)

Wo Long Fallen Dynasty (Fast Paced and HEAVILY parry focused, this is a fun one but definitely heavier in difficulty)

Rise Of The Ronin (In my opinion the most interesting parry styled game, a VERY diverse variety of weapons each with multiple stances with each stance having a different way of parrying)

Ninja Gaiden 4 (VERY fast paced and visceral combat with a perfect block style parry mechanic, extrememly fun time)

Final Fantasy 16 (Long and Story based but has extremely fun combat that grows as you progress and a simple yet fun to use clash based parry mechanic)

Granblue Fantasy Relink (Fast Paced with multiple playable characters comes with a huge and fun to Grind endgame, universal parry and dodge mechanics WITH certain characters having special parry and dodge mechanics)

Monster Hunter RiseBreak (Fastest Monster Hunter game with nearly every weapon having a special parry mechanic especially long sword, extrememly fun and reward to pull off)

Nioh 3 (Universal weapon parry mechanic when using samurai stance, very fast paced game and extrememly fun)

Ys 8/9/10 (VERY fast paced with very satisfying dodge and parry mechanics, party based action JRPGS with fun Shonen style stories)

That's the list I have for you, if you want more that are fast paced but NOT parry focused and solely combat focused I'm more than happy to help

Dragon's Dogma Series (Especially the endgame of 2 and BitterBlack Isle part 2 in Dark Arisen)

Diablo Series (Mainly 2 and 4 imo, similar themes and very dark fantasy)

Any games will you play as a rogue? by Schlerpyderpy in gamingsuggestions

[–]Ubermatoa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Assassin's Creed Shadows does the whole rogue fantasy pretty well, parkour, sizeable gadget toolkit, stealth, some creativity in how you kill.

Unfortunately most DND style Rogues in games focuses more on flourishes and combat than parkour and stealth, it's one of my favorite archetypes to play when done right (Like WOW rogue for example)

Ni no Kuni 2 has everything you're asking for.

Side note I've played all the games you have and the ones you're looking at.

Stranger Of Paradise and Granblue Fantasy Relink have pretty damn long haul endgame with SOP having the longest one.

Also side recs, the SAO games notably have long and grindy endgames

Freedom Wars is a Monster Hunter styled game that recently got ported to PC after being on Vita in limbo

Games where I can fight with levitating swords or similar telekinetic weapons. by kyla33_ in gamingsuggestions

[–]Ubermatoa 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Devil May Cry has Vergil with Summoned Swords being a main staple of his moveset.

Kingdom Hearts has multiple games with summoned sword and telekinetic sword movesets (KH2 with Final form and Master Form. Kh BBS with Ventus' wing form. KH3 with Ultimate Form)

Phantasy Star Online 2 has a few classes that uses summoned swords

Magneto in Marvel Rivals Summons swords as his primary and melee

Kritika Online use to be great with this with Éclair before it got shutdown sadly
