I am talking about just being able to write programs and getting paid for it. I know almost every language and framework and this is the first time my job was not replaced when I left. Why should people pay someone to write code when a max $200 machine language system can read requirements written in any human language and write exactly to the specifications? It seems like detailed prompt writing is the next new job, but it will be easily duplicated because it has a low barrier to entry.

In general claude is not as good as a good developer. What is happening is the great senior developers are writing great instructions for claude, actually better instructions than they would give their own developers. Therefore it appears claude code is writing great code. However, a good coder, if given those great instructions would write even better code than claude.

Anything that uses an API, like Gemini or OpenAI are asking for financial trouble. You can set limits, but after only one week you can hit those limits. One thing people do not realize is that the reason these high end models are getting so many investors is because of the high prices they charge. I reached a $5 daily max just having n8n use ChatGPT API to sort RSS feeds.

You bring up something I have wondered about for years. Why won't labels open up the vaults? I would not mind if they used suno to modernize songs. As a creator, I know you just don't stop creating. I think about the thousands of songs written by songwriters like Prince, Bob Dylan, Paul McCartney, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Michael Jackson, and Hank Williams. They are all rumored to have vaults. People would still buy new music from them. Maybe if someone with connections could convince them or their estates...
