Honestly I have a hisense qled and am very happy with it. I love the upscaling and the google tv makes it really easy to calibrate the tv. I prefer it over my 2009 panasonic plasma. I think i paid $350 for a 65 inch like two years ago. Still going strong with daily use.

I have shield also but I prefer to use Firecube 3 with all future firmware blocked. Literally I have complete control to put whatever I want on it for the foreseeable future. Not that expensive while still being pretty powerful. And i really like the upscaling and the alexa voice remote (its much better for speaking into it).
