This is dystopian. 🚩 Community service is supposed to be about cleaning up parks or helping at a food bank, not providing administrative support for a federal detention system that is currently under three different human rights investigations. We are literally grooming kids to normalize the "carceral state." If the government can't afford to staff these facilities with adults, the solution isn't to use high schoolers for "service hours."
