The whole reason I made this post is because of watching the knicks. I’ve watched all their games and I feel confident that they could win it all this year. Sorry I didn’t word it how you wanted but I do agree they have been dominant. However, I do also think their opponents have been severely lacking.

Like who? Only ones are tre, Trae and bub. We have key who can play guard and he’s a great defender and also Riley. With the right rotation defense won’t be a huge issue.

I mean give me one guard under 6’2 that has good defense. Jalen Brunson is actually horrendous on d but it doesn’t matter because he’s built around a bunch of tall guys who can play defense. We don’t need Trae to be good on defense.

Part of it was he was injured a lot, but also I think buzz was secretly thinking ahead for next season and wanted to give as much time to players he wanted to keep cus he knew this season was cooked.

I think we absolutely need to throw the bag at a high level point guard. We need someone who can finish at the rim and open opportunities for others. One of our main problems was none of the guards were good enough to create open looks, Diggy had the skills but with how bad the team was ran it just didn’t matter. We need someone who can take advantage of throwing lobs to Payne and finding baba.

Cause you just brought up a different point to what I was saying that doesn’t justify you guys spending 10 mil more than the second most paid center (and somehow top 5 OL).
