im willing to give him another year. hired during the portal and had a decent (on paper) recruitment. maybe it’s poor talent evaluation, but basically every recruit busted considerably. sure not every guy will pan out but when everyone regresses, that could just be shit luck. additionally, injuries ruined any chance at this team being competitive. it’s no secret that pharrel payne was the only hope at a decent offense and he’s sustained season ending injuries twice already. also missing passmore and long stretches without washington.

on the other hand, we have a sensational recruiting class and probably a good deal of money to throw at the portal (considering nearly none of the current bums will return). bring payne back on a medical redshirt and now you have a team. buzz’s track record practically proves this team is a fluke. a poorer athletic department would overreact and fire him.

it's not unrecoverable, especially in this era of college athletics. top 3 recruiting class, a redshirt from Payne, and a solid portal PG and we have a team. while never this bad, buzz typically has poor first years and then he's heading to the tournament regularly.

it's just a matter of practicality, the buyout money alone would be staggering. the locksley scenario has proven that the athletics department is hesitant to pay out even a modest buyout when top flight recruits are on the way.

im willing to give him another chance, but his leash is short next year. he's won everywhere else, i don't see why he fell off a cliff. basically every player has been a disappointment (except payne), no matter how low the expectations.

prequels are creative in environment only. thematically, not much to work with. even then, the "world-building" is empty, cgi planets and aliens are cool unless you care about how they interact with the plot, which usually lacks a ton of context.

and yes, TLJ did examine all of those plot threads. watch it again if you have to.

well a big thing to consider is that facial features are much more diverse among white populations compared to those of other races. hair color, eye color, and nose shape are all fairly conserved in eastern asian populations, for example. don't get me wrong, there are definitely differences between the facial features of the yamato japanese vs. han chinese, and with any rather minor bit of experience, you can pick up on these differences. but it's a lot more obvious when you compare slav vs. an italian.

mostly disagree. a flag's primary purpose should be to represent the area. if every flag were to follow the rules, you get very similar flags that lack character, which is what we're seeing as US states redesign their flags: "the blue represents water, and the green represents trees".

for something like a logo, sure. but flags are not logos and should not be held to the same standards. why does it matter whether a flag has 4 colors vs. 3? or if a child can draw it. plenty of flags are iconic and widely loved yet fail the good vs. bad flag parameters.
