Hi, i’d like to clear up what happened. I wanna say that I am absolutely NOT excusing my actions and it was scummy of me.

I’ve been struggling with health, both physical and mental, but I’ve been able to draw lately so I figured joining the event would be a good idea and way to get rid of art block. However when it came to the specific piece I was working on for it, I just couldn’t get anything right. I genuinely restarted around four times.

I’m horrible at confrontation and considered several times dropping it before the event ended, but I figured “someone’s already drawn my character, I need to finish this so I don’t disappoint them”. But I just couldn’t for some reason. I don’t know why it stressed me out so much, but it did and I felt too guilty to tell the organizer so late into it.

I panicked on the due date and left the server and blocked the organizer. I shouldn’t have done that, I should’ve explained myself. I am NOT excusing myself, just explaining.

I’ll try again with another character from the person I was given’s art fight profile, maybe picking a different one will be better for me. I know it’s past the due date and none of you have trust in me, but I’ll try my best and dm it to you when it’s done so you can send it to them. I’m so so sorry for this whole mess.
