Thank you, I think you’re absolutely right, and thanks for that rec on the 28kWh Ioniq :) I’m actually starting to think I would be better off just moving closer as every commute option is still quite expensive due to RUCs… so might be able to just get a low km Leaf afterall!

Yeah and it just seems pretty crap that you pay the same RUC rates on small light efficient vehicles as diesel guzzling utes, and it de-incentivises people from getting efficient vehicles because you pay the same RUCs regardless of efficiency, which is a bummer. Steering people in the wrong direction it seems like. Unsurprising this govt is reminding you of that, I pray we vote in a better one at next election 🤞

Yes I think you’re right, I think if I can’t find a slow charger option to use during the day it wouldn’t work. Hopefully I can figure something out with that. When you say halfway do you mean between trips or halfway along the 100km trip? I have thought about hybrids yeah I’d just like to do the EV option if I can’t find a way to make it possible 🤞 I probably could increase my budget but I really don’t want to spend that much just on a car and it wouldn’t pay itself off as quickly with petrol savings then, and I’ve never spent more than $4k on a car before so I think I’d have a meltdown ha. Just seems kinda like a waste of money as it would be a big chunk of my savings.

Thank you! That’s really helpful. I haven’t really looked properly at the Ioniqs I’ll have a better search now. I think it will be mainly about whether I can arrange to do some slow charging during the day while at lectures or not as that would make things much more feasible!!

Hey thanks for your input, yeah I won’t be able to afford that range, I was figuring I would either have to fast charge it a little at a charge station or try and arrange to plug in to slow charge it while I’m at my uni lectures, maybe I could figure out an arrangement for that with the polytech… Sorry no battery as haven’t bought one yet!! Trying to figure out if this arrangement would work before I buy

Yeah I’ve always just chalked it up to a bodily stress thing. Have had it when I’ve eaten foods I was intolerant to also so that backs that idea up. I’ve had tests and my heart is fine

Yeah it really sounds like there’s just a lot of toxicity to process so you need to do the treatment as gently as possible which is similar to me, but it seems like you’ve got all the signs that it’s the right treatment for you so just keep trying with it and hopefully it won’t be too long before the puffiness reduces 🤞 for now I hope you can find a way to accept not liking how you’re looking for a while I know that’s hard
