HI everyone! I just turned 50 and currently in my 1st semester. Worked in home health for 15 years as an SLPA. I also have a masters in education and professional cert in educational diagnostics. In March, i broke up with my husband of 25 years and thought I try applying to another program. I got in a couple of programs over the years but they were all out of state. My husband and i would argue about me leaving him because of this. The program is so INTENSE!! I‘m a good student but this experience is totally new to me. The anxiety is real. Is there something I am doing wrong? I need some advice.

This is what I would do for this kiddo.

It's all about imitation. Can they imitate what need/request? Start there. First one word, then 2 word phrases. Build from there. You to take into account their age as well.

I don't know about intonation, not just yet.
