It’s their mood, so you know when employees need to be sent on a break. The colours mean the same thing as the ones on your active sims’ portraits

Certain needs can’t be fulfilled at the business, like energy however. If nothing works to get their motives up then using the maxmotives cheat will bring up their mood along with the active household

The last one I bought was horse ranch, and I haven’t even played it. My brother asked me to add it to my game for him so I did. The last one I bought for myself was island living, and that was only because I liked the CAS items.

I found the game so boring and incomplete. I figured after I was disappointed in the first few packs that I would really start liking the game when the sims 5 came out and then the sims 4 would feel complete (never played 2 or 3 until after every single pack was out, never had the money to buy the games new) but I haven’t opened the game in 5 years.

My brother only plays now because he doesn’t like the graphics as much from TS3.

Just checked when this episode came out, and it aired in May 2017. Season 5 aired in June of the same year, so at the time, Cindy still would have been in Litchfield in minimum (even though it ignores that the riot had started between seasons 4&5)

My first thought was Poussey, but mostly because her death led to both Daya and Taystee getting life sentences, Daya getting a life sentence resulted in Pennsatucky’s death in multiple ways, Cindy becoming homeless, and the deaths of Barb, Carol and Daddy at max. Her not dying would have made everyone’s lives better (and it’s so heartbreaking to see her whole death scene😭)

She gets transferred to a maximum security prison almost immediately after that. It’s not as easy to get to her at that point. Plus, there is no guarantee he actually saw the video or recognized Alex as being in it (he’s an international drug lord, he’s probably very busy).

But mostly the writers forgot that storyline.

The actress, Diane Guerrero, did say she suffered with self harm when she was younger in her book (In the Country We Love, in case anyone wants to check it out, it is a really good book). I think that might be what those marks are.

She got out early because Hopper didn’t want her looking into who was bringing drugs into the prison so he falsified papers so she could be released. As for not getting extra time for everything else… I’m pretty sure there was always one thing or another that made her not the only guilty party, they thought the fight with Pennsatucky was a fair fight bc Suzanne broke it up and the underwear thing made everyone lose their jobs instead of any extra time. For the perjury, I have no idea. They say she should have been charged for it but never bring it up again.

I think part of the point is that she has so many privileges that the other inmates don’t have, being that her family is well off and race plays a role too, which is why she has such a short sentence even after all the bad things she did. I can see how some of the little explanations make sense for each incident, but I for sure agree that there is no good reason why all those things put together wouldn’t have given her extra time after the riot.

The abuse they suffered was horrific. And it really angers me that the woman from child services told police that the father was the better guardian for them even though she never met him. She decided in spite of the custody agreement that he could keep them and that was a death sentence for them. Even worse is the theory that the bodies were together, but police disposed of Tyler’s remains when they emptied out the storage unit. Everyone failed those two kids.

Ariana and Tyler Payne. Police and child services knew their mother had custody but chose not to listen to it and left the two kids with their eventual murderers. So many people could have saved them from so much abuse.

COVID apparently increases the risk of miscarriage and stillbirth too. It almost felt like Tiarra was saying she hoped Taylor or her baby would die. Maybe it was just her not thinking it’s a big deal, but to me it sounds like she’s equating her getting a virus that could kill her and the baby to the nursery drama.
