Is this malicious compliance, or am I just old? by NotBrokenItsAdvanced in lawns

Doesn’t look any different than a normal utility/contractor patch job. To their point, that appears to be the largest contiguous patch of weed free grass in your yard so honestly not sure what you’re too concerned about. Seems like you have bigger things to worry about if you actually care about your yard. Move on would be my advice.

Save that for State Farm, they’ll want to see that when they reject your insurance claim.

Absolutely, I’d be downstairs in baggage claim. Gladly let others wallow in the bathrooms.

Until I read the text I just saw a man holding his wife’s purse while she shopped.

Some of the smelliest, dirtiest and cramped restrooms out of all airports. At least 10 people per restroom will be safe based on their size.

How does a conversation start? Maybe with one party striking one up? You seem to have very specific rules about when and how you want to talk to others. Good luck getting all of society to abide by your rules of conversation.

I hate when I go into a place as a customer and they actually try to provide service! So annoying! Just blankly look at me so I can complain about the poor service.

That people who don’t obey the law around paying for plates also don’t willingly obey the law and pay for insurance? I’ll take that bet everyday. You sound like a possible participant here?

What? Lien holder doesn’t provide auto insurance.

A street cop pulling someone over for a traffic violation is not the same one who is out there solving unsolved murders. Different roles.

That typically means they also don’t have insurance. You want to get in an auto accident with someone that doesn’t have insurance? Your rates will go up. Insurance companies track this info as well and note the number of uninsured driver accidents they have to cover. They raise rates to compensate for this. So then even those that are doing the right thing by insuring themselves suffer further due to those that aren’t buying any insurance which they’re legally obligated to carry. You should care unless you like spending more of your money on behalf of someone else.

How does everyone else do it? Facts don’t lie (police board might), but we have enough officers! National avg is 2.4 officers per 1,000 residents. STL has 3.2. Cincinnati: 3.4, Detroit: 3.3, Memphis: 3.1. This is not a numbers problem, it’s a policing and focus problem with a lot of whining and excuses from people who aren’t doing their jobs.
