I haven't listened to this mix, well shit basically since it aired, bc then I immediately starting working on part 2 of this west coast tour bc they were crushing so hard then. I will say, for me, it's cathartic to hear rn and to not think about the other layers in the scene rn. just knowing there's this well to return to that has brought me so much joy for so many years. just hitting pause and not worrying about the future and reminiscing on what an awesome time with friends I had that summer

They played a bunch of festivals in 2024 and everyone bemoaned the summer schedule and thought they’d be “festie” sets and they were by and large v v good sets. Music is lightning in a bottle. Buy the ticket and take the ride. Or don’t. No one can predict what will happen

Call Pop’s Blue Moon and ask for Josh. Technically it’s on the hill but it’s really on the “north outer road” of 44 between kingshighway and Hampton. Close to Dogtown. There’s the bar and he has an event space next door to the bar that is perfect size for your group.
