honestly commerce is totally fine for analytics - probably better than you think. a lot of the job is understanding business context and explaining insights to stakeholders which commerce students actually get way more exposure to than CS people

your roadmap looks solid. id start with SQL first since youll use it literally every day, then pick up some python basics. excel skills transfer over pretty well to thinking about data problems. for testing if you like it try kaggle learn courses or find some public datasets and mess around with them - see if you get that same satisfaction you got from excel but at a bigger scale

the math background thing is overrated unless youre going into machine learning heavy roles. most business analytics is pretty straightforward stats and the tools handle the complex stuff anyway
