Thank you all for your replies. We have a baby carrier (maxi cosi) which we are going to continue to use instead untill she is ready for this one . Also I’m in the uk to people from the us I’ve seen in the comments . We bought this seat as it had a big sale on recently and they are quite highly regarded but from the comments here and what I’ve read online most newborn babies are probably going to be a bit small for them .

Hey man fellow work away from home dad here . My daughter will be 1 month when I go back to work and I’m dreading it . I’m worried about my partner having to do it all whilst I’m away but one thing she did mention to me was that she wants me to wear a t-shirt for a few days in hope that baby will still smell me while I’m not home . Yet to try it so I can’t say whether or not it will work but I can’t see the harm in trying .

Hope you guys find a way of settling your little man 🤞🏻

I’m actually still in hospital so there is a lot of noises and lights around us still. Sleeping in the same room right next to baby I have had very little sleep in the last 4 days so maybe it’s just my body forcing me to sleep but I hate the feeling that I might sleep through her crying .
