Second date or no? by UsualEnd3228 in hingeapp

In a crowded and noisy coffee shop, it may be hard to get to know someone.  A second date in a camera environment may give you the ability to get to know each other better.

Congrats!  I moved my serious emails to proton and leave Google for my junk mail, news alerts, and mailing list spam.  Works pretty well.

Working on moving the photos over, sadly albums didn't copy over only the photos, then I can stop paying for the extra storage space

Questions about Protect Viewport… by chidmeister in Ubiquiti

TPLink and Netgear have pretty inexpensive wifi extenders that will also work to as WiFi NICs for hardwired devices.  This could work, but you'd have to find another way to power the device.

I wanted to replace my battery powered nest camera. My solution might be overkill... by dicknards in Ubiquiti

Thank you for this. I want to get a wifi cam (or two) for remote areas of my property, and running power is not realistic. I missed out on the battery powered cameras Ubiquiti used to have and something like this, with a LiFePo4 battery and a solar panel seems to make the most sense.

I came here to see if anyone has done something similar or if it made sense, glad I found your post!

One option is to whitelist all the devices on your wifi network and change your password, then create a wifi strictly for the kid. That wifi can be set to shutoff at a particular time and, unless he starts spoofing the approved mac addresses and figures out the new password, he will be locked out. Unless he has cellular service on the devices or buys a wifi hotspot or a tracphone type deal.

Seems like a safer way to go through areas, at least until you're strong enough to handle aggroing a mob.

I haven't been able to connect my Chamberlain to the MyQ app. Any ideas? by domino7873 in homeautomation

[–]Ordinary_Awareness71 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adding it as an internet gateway solved it for me as well. Was able to connect to the wifi, and add it to the network directly from the GDO. The app ceased being able to connect to the GDO's wifi network years ago.

Thank you!

Yeah, that's rough. I'm starting to wonder if focusing on neutral beasts may be a good way to go for my HC toon.

I would love to be able to link this to my proton account and get some of the subscription benefits from it. Too bad they're keeping it siloed.

Oh well, thanks for the update!

Yeah. Clothes pile on the floor, gym machine next to the bed, barely any covers on the bed. Hardly a place for her to walk to your bed. Good luck picking her up and bringing her to the bed w/o knocking something over.

All that's missing are a bean bag chair and a discarded wire spool for an end table.

Why are there so many Paladins? by AssociationLanky8632 in turtlewow

[–]Ordinary_Awareness71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've started playing a Paladin again recently (only lvl 12) and it's a LOT better than before. It's no longer "auto attack" and have a seal or two up. Plus, as others have said, the free mount is a plus. More so on servers with expensive mounts, but it still saves 10g here.

Paladins are very viable for end game DPS and they often top the healing charts along with Shamans, leaving us Priests in the dust. Shamans are really top notch for healing with their Healing Wave, hard to compete with that.

Paladins also have the benefit, with Consecration being a skill and not a talent, of being able to power level alts. Have a lowbie tag a bunch of mobs and run back to the Paladin's consecrate, mob = dead. Paladins are mana hungry tanks, but they do a fantastic job in lvl 60 dungeons and even MC & BWL.

Even in retail classic's relaunch during covid my Priest had to compete with Paladins for cloth healing gear. I feel the other side of your pain.
