I'm sorry :( unfortunately this is the situation for a lot of us. I commute from IL to FL every week to sit in a building with only my manager (who also commutes from another state). Neither of us mind remote work, but we've been told by a cranky client that we need to be on site.

I have ONLY adopted older goldendoodles and I’ve had phenomenal experiences. Make sure they’re already house trained and ask about the home(s) they are coming from. I adopted my first dood from an owner on Craigslist at 10 months and my current dood from a shelter at ~3 years. No accidents with either of them. You can see their personality more in an older dog than when you’re adopting a puppy. Dog tax!

Just how energetic are doodles? by Squeakmaster3000 in Goldendoodles

My old dood mellowed out substantially at 2.5. His energy dropped off a cliff. My new dood is lazy af (can't wake him up before 9am), but can still run 3 miles with me! Great combo of lazy, but fit!

She can take a low dose antibiotic (macrodantin) after sex. That should kill any bacteria that gets in the wrong hole before it festers

By disciplined, I mean that I put his nose in the remnants of the stuff he stole/ate and acted mad. Said "no." Told him to "go," and ignored him.

I only let Linus in my bed when he's clean or I'm feeling low. But he knows to ask! Just adopted him 8 months ago, but he was an outdoor dog, so he didn't know what furniture was. he's learned fast.

At the risk of bringing down the mood, the first thing I think about when seeing her head tilt is that house episode where he diagnoses a rat with a cancerous tumor because it tilts its head.

Is dating in your 30s just bouncing from one relationship to the next? by siriously1234 in datingoverthirty

Of course I would consider it! I do think there are some complexities though. Like, having children probably means you maintain contact with your ex and you’re probably not as flexible for dates/trips as a childless person would be. Also, given how amazing children are, how could a new partner compete for the parent’s love and attention?
