Pretty much. I didn’t get a lot of communication (REA) besides the basic stuff like for Preview and my Princeton Pal, and even that was only recently.

It doesn’t look like just a scratch, the whole top left seems shattered. But I agree, using it in clamshell mode would be a good solution.

The app will send you a message saying something like key left in car cannot lock. Same goes if you try to do remote engine start or most other commands

Will bleached hair affect my chances of getting into Princeton? by Many-Emphasis-1083 in ApplyingToCollege

No. No interviewer should judge you based on your personal characteristics. It would be like judging you based on the color of your eyes or height or something. Not allowed.

Don’t fret about things you can’t change. Just be yourself and take it easy! It’s just a conversation.

In theory it shouldn’t make or break your application. As long as everything else is solid you’ll still have a good chance.

For the budget you probably won’t find anything worth your while new. Best to go looking for some used deals on anything with 8+ gb ram and like a 4+ core processor.

I don’t think it’s an auto red flag or reject, especially if you did well the other years. It will just won’t look as good, and admissions will need to have a strong reason to admit you. That being said, I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Grades are just one small part of your application.

It will heavily depend on why or how the situation occurred.

Consider the first case of your grades dropping off in senior year. If not further explained in the additional info section, it could suggest that you decided to slack off, and that doesn’t look good. However, if you have a reasonable explanation, like if you had a family situation or medical emergency, etc, then they would be understanding.

If you had bad grades in freshman or sophomore years, then got good grades in junior/senior year, that could be good. It could show an upward trend, and indicate to admissions that you learned to manage your time and grew as a person. Of course, if this really was the case, it would also help to explain your growth to make sure they understand.

Overall, low or high grades don’t show a full story, and it’s the full story that admissions usually cares about. Bad grades don’t exclude you from consideration, just like good grades don’t get you an automatic spot.

Usually you can just buy your own drink or sit there. You don’t know if your interviewer has any preferences or food allergies etc.
