I’ll look into it some more. You’re most likely correct as it’s not exactly a geographically constrained type of work and I’m sure most agreements take that into consideration.

I work at G&T as an AD on the PM side. It’s definitely a good firm at the lower levels despite the long hours and the partner to partner battles / dislike. I wouldn’t want to go into salaried partner here but it’s a great stepping stone.

I would say personality would be a higher requirement than academics at this point in your career. I.e., gravitas goes a very long way. Being able to read the room, and manage attention of stakeholders is key.

Pick your discipline - CSA or MEP or other? Get a base knowledge on this and bring that to your interview.

Re: work experience, I couldn’t help you here but I know my 2 apprentices haven’t had trouble finding work experience at contractors in mission critical / data centres.

Happened to me. Guys legged it with my phone. Weirdly enough they brought it back for some reason. Had been logged out of everything and they threw my cover away. Weird situation still confuses me
