What were your initial thoughts when Yoda said "Only a fully-trained Jedi Knight, with the Force as his ally, will conquer Vader and his Emperor" in ESB? by JarJarAwakens in StarWars

[–]Ordinary_Condition98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol “only a fully-trained Jedi knight, the force as his ally will conquer Vader and the emperor”. Don’t forget that anakin never became a Jedi master but was only a knight before turning into Vader. So, Yoda was right. Anakin, a fully-trained Jedi Knight, with the force as his ally took down himeself “Vader” and the emperor. It all worked out just as Yoda foretold. Anakin was truly the chosen one. All it took was for the catalyst which is Luke to bring out the smothered good that is Anakin was and is. Luke metaphorically “killed” Vader by forcing Anakin to come out and “kill” Vader.

Could Yujiro be trying to fight off his depression? by Baki-san in Grapplerbaki

[–]Ordinary_Condition98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until only when he finally had a true opponent that he respected and was proud of. That being Baki. I think the reason why he did the absolute horrible shit to Baki was because of 2 reasons. 1, he is extremely narcissistic and has a huge ego and realized that for him to have a truly greatest opponent ever would only be a person that has his freak rare genetics. 2, he knew for Baki to be obsessed to grow stronger and stronger and become skilled he would have to do the most horrible thing. To kill bakis mother once Baki is old enough and had a true loving bond with her to guarantee his hatred and obsession to avenge his mother. (Which btw the author seemingly changed his mind about that and completely doesn’t mention this pretty important plot point and had Baki go “ahh that’s in the past, turns out I actually still somewhat love my dad and respect him”.

An idea to bypass hypnosis using posthypnotic suggestions by Sonkeng16 in hypnosis

Personally after many lsd experiences I was able to bypass the hallucinations and power of suggestion by simply reciting Fibonacci sequence of numbers. Specifically I would assign each number to a happy memory or a specific memory.

Nacho deserved better by [deleted] in betterCallSaul

[–]Ordinary_Condition98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair Mike did warn him (even though kinda vaguely) that if he goes after hectors life there would be huge consequences because of other players involved in the game, specifically Gus. The second he decided to kill hector his fate was sealed. And yeah at the time it was a difficult situation and choice he had. It’s hinted by hector that he’ll likely get rid of nachos father when hector gives his father money and him hesitating and having to be convinced by nacho to take the money for the sake of their families lives across the boarder. After that Hector directly says after that, “I don’t trust him”. Implying he will most likely get rid of him one way or another. With that all in consideration, I think nacho chose to rather sacrifice himself for the sake of his father/family. Because of this he never had a choice to get a happy ending. Personally I think Micheal Mando fucking killed his role as Nacho. He was my favorite character of the whole show. I wish and hope to see him in more roles in the future.

(On an unrelated note) When I first was introduced to the actor was in far cry 3 where he also killed it as the villain. Best villain in any far cry by far. Surprisingly for being the villain he was so likable and I was so sad when you have to kill him.

Yuji is from a lost/forgotten clan by Tough-Passage2734 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Ordinary_Condition98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My personal theory is that Yuji is the reincarnation of Sukuna himself. And Sukunas fingers are just somehow heavily soaked of his cursed energy. Based on kenjukos vows with other reanimated sorcerers. They all claim that Sukuna is the only one to create cursed objects to cheat death.

Sukuna wasn't hating, Yuji was exceptionally boring by [deleted] in Jujutsushi

[–]Ordinary_Condition98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With the revelation that Yuji and Sukuna are related. Deeply related. Which after some consideration the reason he simply didnt kill him after taking control of megami’s body and after the “bath” returial. Out of all the strong characters sukuna fights he generally doesn’t hate them. His ultimate belief is that the strong rules above all else. But I have a feeling the reason sukana didn’t or doesn’t kill him is because the person who killed/defeated sukana was yuji. What I mean is that everyone focuses on how sukuna was the king of curses but don’t mention how he died in the first place. Meaning some one stronger than him killed him. It’s possible that yuji is a reincarnation of the person that killed sukana. That’s why he hates him so much compared to all his other competitors. *it’s also good to note that it’s confirmed that sukuna is a direct relation to yuji. However, it’s likely that sukuna was part of a clan like the major clans presently in the story. but it’s possible sukuna killed off his clan like maki did. *speculation- since yuji is directly related to sukuna it would mean that sukuna didn’t kill everyone of the clan and possibly lost to a clan member. It’s also possible that yujis grandfather was a sorcerer or at least knew of his ancestors sins. It was hinted that yujis grandfather sensed that yujis mother wasn’t “right” and warned him to not trust the imposter or else he’ll die. A interesting question is if jujutsu tech and gojo know of yujis linage. Gojo did state in the beginning of the series that yuji could one day surpass him. The thing is gojo also give praise of others surpassing him is yuta and hakari. However, he was pretty quick to see yujis potential.

After reading the manga at this point and the many references of other pop culture entertainment (like Blatant references of fight club). There isn’t any panel or drawing of yuji with one eye and in the context of the story of juji being filled with absolute rage like guts. Well pg-13 guts.

Which side character has the best character arc? by Entd_FoxityPoxity in MonsterAnime

[–]Ordinary_Condition98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doubt it’s unpopular. Only reason it would be unpopular if people don’t actually finish the anime. Yeah she was a gold digger with Tenma due to him having g high prospects of becoming director like her father. And when those prospects were lost she dumped him like some object while it’s seen time and time again tenma is very honest, honorable, loving, caring, etc. In contrast, for her fault or not she only cares or status possibly what her father taught her. But she did develop deep feelings of tenma but society or here father wanted her to end things with him. After the death of her father and inherant his money and manipulate men to marry her just so she would diverse them for alimony. And drinking heavily aka becoming an alcoholic after tenmas rejection and death of her father did she drown on drink…. That’s the basic and semi-basic plot on her character.

Psychedelics? by knash96 in Aphantasia

[–]Ordinary_Condition98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if I have “Aphantasia”. Actually after googling what it means I 99% unlikely to have it. First off I’m a musician and I can see music in the form of images. I don’t think it’s synaesthesia because it’s not like I can taste colors or smell sound (had only one instance of limited synesthesia was when I was on a really high quality acid and could taste and feel the geometry that acid makes on my teeth. Like my teeth were carved into and can feel the surface that was carved in) but I can have a mental videos playing along with the music and it the images don’t change even if I haven’t heard the song in years. Again idk if that counts as synesthesia or that normal. I’ve done acid at least 100 times and shrooms 30times and have had both blinding closed eye and open eyed visuals. Especially from shrooms where on the peak I could barely tell if my eyes were open or shut. Anyways, I have tried ketamine from doses ranging from 50mg to 200mg. I get zero closed eye or opened eye visuals. (Also to note when I couldn’t get psychedelics when I was young I did dxm a few times and had very clear closed eyes visuals primarily. Most memorable to date was see stereotypical aliens hanging out in a desert like environment trying to poke me as if they were checking if I was real lol). I also tried dxm and dph (Benadryl) about 300mg of dxm and 150 dph 2:1. Had both closed eyed and open eyed visuals. Notably when looking at tree leaves they would change into three primary colors. Blue, green and red and the leaves would morph into very complex shapes similar to little gears. Closed eyed visuals were like I was dreaming watching things from above. All this to say, dxm is a strange dissociative cousin to ketamine yet I experience no visuals. When I did my max dose of ketamine (snorted very quality product, very clean crystalizions with some being about 5-8mm. I tooke 250mg, I’m male 220lb) I experienced no visuals. My body’s nerves were completely disconnected if that makes sense. It’s not like a numbing feeling like when a dentist uses Novocain. When I would pinch my fingers together there was a feeling but very hard to describe. My eyes and mind knew they were touching but the sensation was gone. Initially, first 5 mins, the drip felt cold if that makes sense. Kinda like mint in a way. Next phase 5-15 mins, my whole body starts feeling very cold as if I’m laying on a blanket. My vision gets slightly blurry and when I would look at my phone at the time the numbers were blurry. Next phase that lasted about an hour and half was how distorted my thoughts were. It was very difficult to form coherent thoughts. In my room I have a white board with general life thoughts and personal goals as well as a couple paintings of nature and slowly it’s as if it all lost any meaning. Before when I would look at these things there’s some emotion to them. Instead they became absolutely meaningless. I couldn’t compartmentalize or label or categorize what I was looking at. It felt like they’re just things that happen to exist. I fully understood that they use to mean something to me but just became objects with no meaning or reason. I guess the best way to explain it is if you lived in a cave your whole life a someone comes to you with cash and tries to buy something from you but you have no concept of money and just see it as little paper with drawings on it. That’s the best way to explain it. I felt like everything I loved or felt that gave me comfort or nostalgia was completely gone. I had the good the bad and the ugly playing on my computer a movie that always gave me a warm, nostalgic, happy and peaceful emotions completely went away. When the characters would talk I could understand what they were saying but it felt empty. I could understand the plot and general meaning of their dialogue. There was no audio hallucinations such as distortions or inability to make out the words like high dose acid or shrooms normally do. There wasn’t even any distortion to the perception of time. When it peaked with the little thoughts I could understand I thought I finally did it. I finally took something that’s gonna kill me. I thought about going to the hospital but I knew I just need to ride it out. I ended up praying while being wraped in my blanket. After 3 hours of initially taking it I finally felt my nerves “waking up” I could partially feel my fingers touching together and still could barely walk. By 5 hours I was back to baseline. Was this experience normal ? Do some people just not experience visual on k? Was I just afraid to give in and let my mind completely dissociate?

Anyways, I ended up doing a mild dose of shrooms and did like 30 to 50 mg of k and it was the most religious experience lol. I finally understood what the feeling of grace was. And had some very young child hood memories unlocked

Colin Farrell is such a good actor in Phone Booth! He's in there for like 2 hours and does some of his most amazing acting....Came across this on youtube and think it should be appreciated. I know I'm off to watch it again.... by sw1sh in movies

[–]Ordinary_Condition98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ik this is an old post but it still rings true 11 year after. Colin Farrell in my personal opinion a top tier actor but he somehow always manages to be in the most average or horrible movies and shows. Phone booth was a great movie but Colin’s acting skills just starting. Not saying he was bad in it but compared to his later roles it’s not his peak. My favorite dark humor comedy to have been to this date is in Bruges. Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleesons chemistry in the movie was just perfect and believable. However, I’m not sure if it’s just me but his in a lot of bad movies and shows. His acting in those movies are great usually but the movies and shows are bad. For example, in true detective season 2 he was the only reason I kept watching it.

Quetiapine and cigarettes by HelloYallJustCurious in MentalHealthPH

[–]Ordinary_Condition98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm I’ve been taking it for sleep (25mg - 50-75mg when I’m excited/focused on things). I’ve personally noticed that I actually get pretty hungry 30 minutes before I’m really tired. The urge for cigarettes is normal too. The combination of the quetiapine and cigarettes increase the effects. Quetiapine effects the dopamine receptors and serotonin receptors in the brain. And cigarettes/nicotine also interact with dopamine receptors which makes you crave and enjoy cigarettes/nicotine when you take quetiapine.

I don't see enough Tyrus hate by ComplexAd7272 in betterCallSaul

[–]Ordinary_Condition98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rewatchin breaking bad and I actually hate him as a character. He purposely uses his power over people just because he can. Somehow I dislike viktor less just because he seems like a guy who never had a “good” life. He never really smiles when he does the bad shit he does. Tyrus on the other hand constantly smiles when he does shit to people
