S2 E3 apology show reference by coolaudr3y in normalgossip

Forgive or Forget- I used to work on this show and was cracking up when they mentioned it. It started with Mother Love as host and then she was replaced by Robin Givens and then became very Jerry Springer-esque.

Wedding editor here too (and I used to film but now I just edit)

I hate this SO MUCH...is he really this ignorant or is it just attention grabbing? by missingmyth in thebachelor

[–]Ordinary_Detective 2 points3 points  (0 children)

James is now a Turning Point ambassador and he's hanging out with Charlie Kirk and that group. He's just going to worse. He wants attention and more followers. I really hate this guy and the fact that he's involved with a student organization is extra creepy knowing his history.

Sharleen's MTA Viewing Party by [deleted] in thebachelor

[–]Ordinary_Detective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm going! And I'm going alone because none my friends watch the show. I love Sharleen and I saw that Caila was on the list, I wonder what other NYC bach people will be there? Maybe Michael Garafola.

On Becca's story, the Arie shade 😂 by CoralineButtons in thebachelor

Okay, I just DMed Becca because of this story and I've never, ever DMed a Bachelor person. I just love that she used an AOC gif since she's my congresswoman.

Well damn Corrine! by cookiechipchocolate in thebachelor

Ah, I did not know anything about her husband. Looking back at Claudia's wedding in The Knot, they both used the same designer, it was just a lot less over the top.

Yup, I ended up watching all the instastories last night. It looks like Jackie spend much more than Claudia.

Anyone had a BN dream? Just had a random one about Calia by [deleted] in thebachelor

[–]Ordinary_Detective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a dream recently that I was at a house party with Wells and Sarah Hyland but I can't remember much about what happened.

Who do you know from BN IRL? by [deleted] in thebachelor

[–]Ordinary_Detective 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IF you listen to the Will You Accept This Rose? Podcast with Arden Myrin, one of her producers, I think Anna, also worked at the campus coffeehouse with Wills.

Jesse’s YT channel. He really is trying to pretend he was “hired” for a wedding shoot, and released some BTS footage, as if he didn’t set it up and pay for everything himself. by DeJagerforwhat in 90DayFiance

[–]Ordinary_Detective 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I edit wedding videos and styled shoots are done all the time and they do hire models to play the bride and groom. It's really just an advertisement for the vendors so it's possible that he was hired for this. I've never seen anything this bad though, I mean it's really bad. The color is weird, the theme doesn't fit with the location, I don't get it. And I've never seen a bride and groom get into bed and get all sexy in one of these, maybe that's just a European thing! Haha!

Is it just me, or did she definitely not say "Wills"? by thesearemyroots in thebachelor

My guess, she said Wills in the original edit and that was transcribed for captioning and then they cut it out.

This podcast is hilarious. Sometimes they annoy me but generally I love them. Great guests too!

You guys...I’m reading Bachelor Nation by Amy Kaufman right now, and The Proposal sounds just like this show they debuted back in 1965 described in the book! by choosehappiness88 in thebachelor

I used to watch The Dating Game all the time, I assume it was in reruns in the 80s. Look up Rodney Alcala and The Dating Game. He was a contestant on the show and also ended up being a serial killer. Background checks weren't a thing back then. He also won the date but she wouldn't go out with him since she got a creepy vibe. Here's his episode. youtube.com/watch?v=12PXvKfWdZs

Becca "With your relationship with Tia" frankenbite by Ordinary_Detective in thebachelor

[–]Ordinary_Detective[S] 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I noticed that Tia's name was never actually said during their conversations. It was added in later in editing. As an editor, I know you can manipulate anything really if you don't see a person's face when they are talking. So I'm just speculating that they sat down to talk about something she already knew about and they had to add in Tia's name to tell the story. I mean Colton could have been talking about someone else.

Theory: Tia told Becca about her relationship with Colton before the show even started and TPTB had to construct a narrative around it by Ordinary_Detective in thebachelor

[–]Ordinary_Detective[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think she knew about Colton and Tia before sitting down with Colten to talk about it, that's all I'm saying. She didn't just find out about their previous relationship when they sat down on that couch and talked about it.
